Wow what can we say. We must have walked past this place on so many occasions and totally missed it. We came here on a recommendation. As soon as you walk in downstairs you receive a warm welcome at check in. Head on upstairs and again you are greeted with a warm smile and welcome. The restaurant is large and goes quite a long way back, but the noise level is perfect. The service was first class from start to finish, everyone is so attentive. As soon as you are seated, you are given your menus and your drinks order taken, water is also put on the table and poured for you and topped up throughout your meal. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and went through the whole menu with us, offering recommendations along the way. Now if you are a lover of seafood then the starters are right up your street, although there are other dishes on offer, but we decided to skip and go straight for mains. We had wanted to have Chateaubriand for a while now, but we differ slightly on how we prefer it cooked but our waiter was an absolute star and advised how we could get round it - it comes sliced so if you wanted it more cooked then go for the outside slices, we accompanied this with beef dripping fries which were amazing, creamed spinach and buttered greens - the whole meal was a taste buds sensation. Dessert was Peach Melba Pavlova and Clotted Cream Ice Cream - a delicious way to end the meal. We have never had service and a meal that absolutely blew us away and we will definitely be going back.

Food good. Had a discount with my Blue Light card so very good value. Service slow at times
