The Amalfi Llama @ UTC is a great restaurant for any occasion. I highly recommend it, and I am already planning to return soon. It was a girl's dinner, and we started with the delicious Focaccia bread. The bread had the perfect crisp on the outside, paired with a soft, melty inside, topped with salt. We ordered the Caesar salad, Margherita Pizza, and Lobster Mac & Cheese to share, which did not disappoint. (Disclaimer: It was super tough to decide because it all sounded and looked so delicious!!!) Caesar Salad - Proportioned to share and wasn't overly tossed with dressing; had the right amount of parmesan cheese and croutons. Lobster Mac & Cheese - It is everything a mac & cheese dish should be. It was creamy, baked with bread crumbs, and had a great proportion of lobster. Margherita Pizza - A thin crust, fresh tomato sauce, and basil. The basil was baked into the pizza subtly and wasn't over done. Overall, I would recommend all the dishes we ordered, as it was all so tasty! I can't wait to return to try the other menu items.

Adventures for L & L took us to University Heights for breakfast (at a brunch time) to a restaurant called Great Maple. The food was great and a huge!! We also looked at the amazing food other patrons had. ( little drooling happened too) Small parking lot, better off to find parking on the street. We were there at 11am and it was packed already. ***suggestion is make reservations on Open Table*** made it easier for us. She had “French Toast Logs” and it came with candied maple smoked bacon and syrup drizzled on top! It comes in 4 logs!! She said the bread was as fluffy as Angel cake. As for me, I had the normal 2 egg breakfast with home fries that had thyme and something else on it that was fantastic, bacon and some fruit. Plus we had Peach Bellinis! 🤪🤪 The have beignets made to order then they are brought to your table and prepared in front of you. Since we didn’t have any I can’t tell you how they were prepared but we saw them afterwards. Looked soooo tempting, but after you eat your breakfast or brunch or lunch you may not have room for the beignets!!!
