    If you’re looking for a steakhouse in San Diego, congratulations you just found your next destination. We went there for my father‘s birthday and everything was excellent. The service was top-notch food and drinks were absolutely delicious and definitely worth the price tag. Me and my family will dine here again.

    My first time to a Steak 48. What a gem this one is. Was a very pleasurable experience. Great food, wonderful setting and just to make it known, Shawn/Shaun (server assigned to our table) was fantastic. Knowledgable, friendly, funny, courteous, you name it. World class service from him. Much appreciated and yes, I will be back. Thank you Steak 48 Del Mar!

    The service here is phenomenal. They know how to get it right! Makes you feel special! Food is delish and their super hot plates are something else! The steaks are on point and sides are yum.

    Steak 48 is hands down my absolute favorite steakhouse. The food is always spot-on – perfectly cooked steaks, amazing sides, and a menu that never misses. The service is just as good as the food: attentive without being overbearing and always making you feel welcome. Every visit is consistently an incredible experience.

    Excellent food and service. Pricy. Loud in certain areas so you have to raise your voice to be heard.

    Bread takes forever to come out and I have to rush the waiter 2 times for simple things. Great restaurant like Steak48, I expect more. Also for occasion like birthday, there is no special treatment. If there is no special treatment, why bother to ask in the first place.

    Great food - oysters, lobster rolls, superfood salad, among others. Ambience is hit or miss depending on where in the restaurant you are sat.
