I recently returned to Steak 48 and made sure to request Jared as our server—and once again, he delivered an exceptional experience. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality are unmatched. Steak 48 continues to stand out as the best steakhouse in San Diego. From the impeccable food to the true five-star service, this place never disappoints.

We went for a celebratory dinner, food was EXCELLENT and our server Veronica was friendly, attentive and professional.

I loved the warm towels with the lavender as well as the mini choco chip cookies after receiving our receipt. Nice touches. Trevor was great with service but his partner needs more honing skills (reaching over to get silverware, not refilling our waters). Bread was delicious. The Pacific yellowtail hamachi, torched scallops+caviar & whipped praline sweet potato were also delicious. Our steaks come out perfect. The beignets were good. Glad we took our friend’s recommendation to try Steak 48.

We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday, and it couldn’t have gone better. The table was in a great spot, and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We started with the beet salad—it was wonderful—and both of our main dishes were extremely good. It really made the evening feel special.

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to. Anthony was awesome! The entire staff Including the chef wished my son happy birthday! Definitely made his day! Thank you so much! We will be back soon

The food was excellent. Liquor prices extremely costly. The inside of the whole place is extremely dark. There are steps that are not lit very well and if you have a vision problem it is possible you will fall. The noise level is to high that those with hearing aids will have a problem. ( I know as I have some of the best hearing aids on the market and I still could barely hear our waitress) We were very well treated by our waitress Erica. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to understand everything. All things considered, we will be returning for another great meal.
