Our dinner experience was amazing!! It was my daughters 30th birthday and everyone made it memorable from her name on the menu to the terrific service and the fun desert with writing happy birthday on it! The food was all outstanding and just the ambiance of the restaurant makes you feel like you are special and they want you to enjoy your evening! Outstanding!!

We had the broccoli and crudo and then the Halibut and smoked brisket. Every dish had delicious flavors and was cooked perfectly. It was our Anniversary and they brought us a small glass of champagne. Service was fabulous. We will definitely be back soon!

Our concept is drawn from our name. The word “cloak” implies secrecy, inspiring our concept of a social sphere humming beneath the levels of ordinary life. “Petal” alludes to the Japanese tradition of “hanami,” when family and friends gather under blooming cherry blossoms to savor food, drinks and fellowship.
Enter our space and travel underground to décor reminiscent of an abandoned Tokyo subway, a stratum of society all its own, an artist’s dream. Cross the threshold into a mystically transformed Japanese social dining lounge which appears to be an outdoor seating area, similar to a waiting platform. Sit beneath a trellis of draping vines and teardrop lights in the intimate space we’ve thoughtfully created, and feast on authentic Japanese sushi, appetizers, small plates and drinks with family and friends.

First time I have been there and it was a wonderful experience. Servers were great and the food was excellent. I recommend the Tokyo Gangster and Shinobi roll.

A friend and I had stopped in for some quick apps and a drink before a later dinner reservation. The food was amazing, we even debated just cancelling our later dinner reservations for the other place and just having the rest of the meal here. Our server Josh was also great, and sweet. 10/10 would come back.

We went in for brunch on a holiday. They were clearly staffed and ready for the day. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Our server was cheerful and attentive. The food was delicious! 10/10 will go again.

This was our third visit to Jeune et Jolie, and as usual it was a wonderful experience. The 4 course dinner is so unique with amazing flavors in each bite. The service is impeccable but all of the servers are so nice and friendly. We recommend Jeune et Jolie to everyone!

The staff was totally lovely in every way.. I'd asked for outside seating but when we arrive it was shady and seemed cold so they easily changed us to inside seating with a choice of two options. We took the comfy and quieter booth in back. Waitress was Kim who was perfect. I loved the quiche from previous visit but chose to try smoked salmon Benedict, which was good but I'll stick with quiche next time. Delicious croissant that was base kind of got soaked by poached eggs. My friend had jamon baguette and loved accompanying pumpkin soup I think even more than sandwich. Baguette was a bit chewy and I saw her struggling with bites. We loved that both orders came with a generous side--soup or salad. My friend loved her coffee but sadly I had had cup before I arrived. Birthday girl got a huge delicious creme brulee. Most of all I was impressed by how unfailingly friendly the entire staff was. Will be back.

This is our favorite restaurant. We’ve been coming here for several years now and it just gets better and better. It never disappoints. There was a wedding party in the bar that accounted for the high noise level, but it was bearable and it made for a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

Food: grilled octopus appetizer- it was outstanding, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Main course: Serea Kakavia was dogfish, scallops, shrimp and clams in a fragrant broth with the perfect balance of heat and complex flavors. Only comparison I could me was it Reminded me of a green curry without the coconut milk. Aimee took excellent care of me and would highly recommend her.

We selected The Fishery as we have been here before and had wonderful dinners. The Saltspring mussels, chowder, and salads are delicious. I am not adventurous with fish, but I love Halibut fish and chips, and as expected, it was fantastic. The server was very attentive but not intrusive. My only bother was the delay in getting to our table. We had a reservation at 6:30 PM but did not sit until 6:50 PM. I guess that the previous patrons of that table were having such a good time that they left later than expected :)
