We had a wonderful experience dining at Leila. Great food and service in a wonderful setting - like sitting under the stars!! Just need to be careful where you are walking since the restaurant is dimly lit intentionally. Will be coming back with another group in a couple of months!

Was a little late to be seated (they're very popular) but overall a wonderful experience. The ambience, food and waitresses were amazing! I forget our waitress' name but she took a picture of us after we ate and she was so nice and friendly! Loved her!! Food was good portion sized, and pricing was also not bad (around 100ish for 2 people, one wasn't drinking alcohol though so keep that in mind too)! Definitely a great date idea! Would definitely come back!

The waitress didn’t believe me when I told her it was my 7th time there. I am obsessed with this place and will never regret booking reservations a month in advance

Hostess are really bad, no organize for sitting , attitude , poor presentation, need a lot of improvement, reserving tables at proper hours very difficult

This place is absolutely beautiful! When you walk in it, it’s literally feels like something out of a vacation. It’s kept immaculately clean, the service is great the ambience amazing and the food was excellent. It was hard to get reservations but i am so glad we did!

I have been trying to figure out how best to explain Leila, a dining experience that was one of the most unique I have ever had. In the middle of the night, the word Sumptuous came to my mind, and I think it is an apt descriptor of the restaurant. The decor is sumptuous: inviting, luxurious, lavish, exotic. The food too was sumptuous: plentiful, filling, hearty, exotic. The restaurant is an immersive experience....no windows reminding you of the outside world, and from ceiling to floor, the decor is brilliant and evocative. You feel like you are nighttime at a large marketplace in the Middle East, taking a break from your travels at this oasis of sorts. You enter a different world when you enter Leila. And when you leave you are full, and mildly surprised the old world still is outside its doors. To my mind, this is a very special place. San Diego is lucky to have it. We were lucky to experience it.
