Leila offers a stunning ambiance that transports diners to an exotic, immersive experience. The "amazing" food, "excellent" service, and "beautiful" decor make it a top choice for special occasions. My family celebrated my mother birthday and there were only smiles when we got there. The place was beautiful and the food was amazing. We order a perfect amount of food and the drinks were very good. I would like to see less sweet cocktails, but the ones we purchased were great. 10/10

As we all know, it takes a month’s wait to get a reservation at Leila, but it’s the over all restaurant experience that attractive! We drove in from Orange County, as party of 8, and one hour into our dinner the manger came to us and said that we need to order main course as well and be ready to leave within 2 hours. It was very unprofessional and rude to say that to your customers instead of asking how things were going. We did not even receive our appetizers and we are told to order main course and purposefully rushed to to dine in 2 hours ! We are never coming back!!

We were absolutely stunned by how incredible this place was, and are still talking about how good the food was days after our Friday night meal. While the food was not especially unique for a middle eastern inspired restaurant, everything was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Each item on the Salatim Platter was exquisite, as were each of the accessories (the zhoug and dukkah were especially good). Highly recommend getting extra garlic fry bread to enjoy with all of the many sauces and dips. The kabobs were all cooked perfectly…moist, tender, and served thoughtfully on pita to absorb all the delicious juices and make for an extra delicious bite at the end. The cocktails were all unique, well-balanced, and served beautifully. They also had a great wine list, and we were able to get a wonderful aromatic Condrieu that paired perfectly with the spice of the food. The Knafeh Sundae was also a standout. Even those of us without a sweet tooth loved it. The atmosphere is very fun, and it is indeed a very busy restaurant, but we did not experience any of the issues with service that others have mentioned in their reviews. The manager of the restaurant even came over to our table to speak with us and ensure we were enjoying our meal. It was a thoroughly memorable experience all around.

Amazing! We were blown away by the atmosphere, service, and food. No wonder it took me so many tries to get reservations. Worth the wait!

This place was suggested by a friend. It was great. Parking is tough in the area so be prepared. When you walk in your are entering a different world. The place is a little dark at first but your eyes adjust and it is perfect to capture the feel. Our waitress made great recommendations that we simply followed. Food was very good but the combination of ambiance added quite a bit to the experience. I recommended to a friend at work immediately. Will likely take our parents back who have traveled the world for this little slice of culture.

The place was a total surprise - did not expect it in the middle of North Park. The decour is so well done, the service was amazing (thank you Jay!), the drinks were fun, and the food was good. What else can you ask for??

The ambiance of Leila is hands down beautiful. The decorations made you feel like you were transported to another place . I felt like the ambiance was not enough to make up for the horrible service and the mediocre Persian food. I love love love Persian food and all the great components that come with the food but found the food here was a little overpriced and bland. When we tried the salatim platter it was beautifully presented but each component was a hit or miss. I guess if you have enough components on a plate you are bound to get one or two things right. My husband had the koobideh which was ok. I had the chicken tahchin which was ok aswell. Our server was very flighty kept wandering off would say she would be back to fill waters and never came back. She also forgot to put in our drink order which we didn't receive until mid meal. With every dish coming out for our table their was no clearing of plates and the tables are super small so we felt like we didn't have decent space to eat. Overall I feel like this restraunt is more of an Instagram photo hotspot then a great meal spot .
