Galvin offers everything we want from a fine dining experience! We first dined at Galvin in 2017 and are there at least twice a year, I can honestly say the food gets better every visit! The staff are polite and attentive, and the Head Sommelier Rudina is just amazing. She makes beautiful recommendations based on your budget. She is super friendly too, a wonderful person.

About the restaurant
Recommended by diners for immaculate service and imaginative cuisine, Trinity is one of London’s fine dining hot spots. The staff are charming and helpful, and though the food is Michelin-starred level, reviews comment on the lack of pretention. Couples on a date night might want to ask about the house tarte tatin. They only make seven every day, and it’s a sublime sharing dessert to round off your four-course meal. Remember to ask ahead of your visit to avoid missing out!

This was our first experience at Trinity and it was fabulous. Very varied Menu and good value especially consider the quality and presentation of each dish. Plus all the little extra goodies we were served. Drinks were very tasty too and they had a good selection of wine and digestifs to follow our meal. Service was exemplary with all the staff being attentive and making great suggestions to enhance our meal and experience. Will definitely being going back....

Another fabulous gastronomic experience in Seven Dials with the Hawksmoor team. Headed up by Catherine, her fabulous team of Gladys, Joanna, Anna, Maria and the rest of the crew, provide a friendly, warm and respectful welcome into this brilliant restaurant environment The menu has taken on some new additions and these were wonderful to try Service in hospitality is key to continued success, and these guys are best in class. Attention to detail throughout the whole dining experience A credit to Stephanie the manager and Hawksmoor as a brand Cheers

About the restaurant
Executive Chef Sean Burbridge prides himself on offering “an eclectic mix of modern British comfort food and international dishes.” So, this is a great place to take a date if neither of you is sure what cuisine you’re in the mood for. Start with a classic prawn cocktail, or make it more exotic and go for the wasabi prawns with salt and pepper squid. A melting chocolate bombe might be a sweet sharing moment at the end of your meal. Lots of choice in an elegantly presented venue.

About the restaurant
The City branch of this restaurant is set in an old electricity substation in the basement of a Grade II listed building. The industrial touches this lends to the décor are fun and a great talking point. Staff write the specials in chalk on the pillars, and brickwork archways provide nooks for supplies for the wait staff. Amongst this intriguing paraphernalia, you and your date can enjoy some of the finest cooked meat in London. Skinny chops, big chops, and off-the-bone meat are the core of this menu, with a mouthwatering range of sauces and sides. A carnivore’s paradise.

Amazing food - we went for the skinny chops sharing option and there was so much food we couldn’t finish it all. Sides were very tasty and great cocktails. Very good attentive service with a smile. Definitely recommend

About the restaurant
A relatively recent addition to London’s dining scene, Portland opened in 2015 and won a Michelin star in their very first year. Famous for rare and esoteric additions to the wine list, this is a great place to take any budding sommeliers. The food is just as enticing. There’s a tasting menu and an a la carte dinner menu, and a very well-priced lunch menu. Mains include thornback ray with mussels and lovage, or shorthorn beef with black garlic. If you go for a birthday or anniversary, tell the staff; you might just get a little treat!

The original Hakkasan, Hanway Place opened in 2001 and is a designer paradise of modern wooden lattice and beautiful Chinoiserie decadence. A thoroughly contemporary interior contrasts with some traditional Eastern flavors such as crispy duck, hot and sour soup, satay chicken, and fragrant jasmine rice. Guests comment on how the restaurant manages to combine elegance with comfort, and of course, great taste. Bright colors and stunning presentation make this a surprising and exciting restaurant to take a date or loved one.

The experience was nothing less than gastronomical bliss. From the moment we entered, the experience was nothing less than a 5 star experience. Each dish was served with such precision that it gave each masterpiece its own platform to stand out. While not everything was something that I’d ever consider eating outside of this experience, it was so masterfully crafted, that I didn’t want to feel left out. The Chef visited out table to put the finishing touches on one of the final courses only to further elevate our experience. Lastly, the chef noted that they are growing their own mushrooms to elevate the experience to a more sustainable food source without one element of culinary compromise. I had to see this for myself. This is certainly an experience to remember.

About the restaurant
Date night should be fun, and few restaurants are more fun and quirky than Heston Blumenthal’s signature venue. The celebrity chef is famous for his quest to perfect familiar dishes by reinventing them in weird and wonderful ways. Dinner comes from a love of gastronomic history, which is evident in dishes such as Plum Meat Fruit, with spiced red wine and chicken liver, or Roast Venison with the classic combination of meat and cherries. The presentation is what makes Dinner fun, so look out for oranges that aren’t really oranges or dry ice rising from the table.
