Really enjoyed the meat thali plate. It was a great combination of curries to try. I would have liked more of a mocktail menu but it being lunchtime it wasn’t that big of a deal to have.

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was mediocre at best – just another run-of-the-mill curry house with nothing special to offer. But the real issue was the service, which was shockingly poor. We had theatre tickets and asked the waiter if he could do us a small favour, but instead of being straightforward, he hesitated, made excuses, and eventually lied. Worse still, I overheard him talking about us to his colleagues in a language he assumed I wouldn’t understand – but I did. When I tried to de-escalate the situation on our way out, things only got worse. The owner or manager, whom you’d expect to be more professional, was even more rude than the waiter. It was baffling – he seemed to have a personal issue with us, which felt especially ironic considering we share a similar cultural background. Rather than resolving the situation, he made it worse, acting as though he was simply eager to get rid of us. To make matters worse, they rushed us to pay the bill the moment we finished eating, and after we left, they canceled our booking on OpenTable. Clearly, they thought that would prevent us from leaving an honest review. Fortunately, I contacted OpenTable and was able to have my booking reinstated so I could share this experience. It seems incredibly shady for a restaurant that won an OpenTable award for another location to be trying these underhanded tactics. If they did this with my booking, it makes you wonder how many other negative reviews they’ve tried to erase. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone – a terrible experience from start to finish.

Tasty food from an extensive menu, and great service from pleasant and helpful staff. An ambient interior, and sensible noise levels, despite it being a busy evening. Very much recommended!
