- OTOpenTable DinerSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur first time at Bestia was so worth it! We’ve been wanting to go here for months so when we got the opportunity to be in LA we booked a reservation. Everything was delicious especially the truffle pasta and whipped ricotta! Thinking about it again makes us want to go back asap. We also loved our server! He recognized us from serving us at State Bird Provision in San Francisco and it was so serendipitous to see him again! Amazing service and food here! - GJGeorgeJvipLos Angeles •129 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI absolutely love this place, and every time I go I love it more. This was my 3rd time here. First, literally everyone with whom we interacted from the front desk hostess to the bartender to multiple servers (only one of which was assigned to our table) "welcomed us back". The server who helped us the last time we dined here approached our table recalling multiple details about our last experience, which was several months earlier. She knew we loved desserts and recommended the lemon and strawberry posset, which was incredible and reflected that she recalled our tastes. The food is consistently exceptional. This time we had the beet salad - which we have had on every occasion and is the best in LA; the ahi poke and pork shank. The pork shank is out of this world - incredible combination of textures and flavors served with both lettuce wraps and spiced naan bread. I would come to Girl & the Goat every week if I lived closer. 5 stars on every level.More infoGirl & the Goat L.A.$$$$• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7

- ASAlanSLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2023Absolutely the best French toast I have ever eaten...all the food was great but the French toast stood out. Freaky day because it was not supposed to rain, but it's LA so of course it rained and we had windy gusts on the outside...BUT...Perch has blankets!. Yes and soft quality ones, so we were toasty even in the LA blizzard.More infoPerch LA$$$$• French American• Downtown•4.6

Discover Los Angeles
Think Los Angeles is a one-industry town? Think again. From the micro-Seoul of Koreatown to unexpected fusion cuisines (take Chinese-Mexican, for one) and strip malls that house destination restaurants, the city’s restaurant scene is notably experimental and diverse. Ask locals where to find the best taco truck (or lonchero) in the city, and you’ve struck a match. These mobile microenterprises are a part of the city's lifeblood. With L.A.’s own Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic, Jonathan Gold, describing the city as “less of a melting pot—more of a glittering mosaic,” we’re seeing L.A.’s vast palate show up on the plate.
