My bf got food debris in his eye and the server was showing favoritism towards one half of the party. The manager has crazy eyebrows.

This is definitely not the Benihanas of yore. The table cook acted like he was undergoing a root canal, definitely wanted to be elsewhere (table cook at adjoining table acting the same way). The table show was practically non-existent, onion volcano very small, very quick, and very sputtering. Beating rice heart, dead on arrival, no beat. Shrinkflation has definitely come to roost at Benihanas, portions extremely small, prices very high. Very sad, have been a customer of Benihanas since the 70’s, the great eating experience of Benihanas past is no more!

We love coming here, its one of our favorites. Every one is always helpful and fun and we love the food. The chefs always do a fun show while cooking.

I come here often. This time was mediocre. The soup had basically zero mushrooms or onions. Did they just stop putting those in? No one at our entire table had any mushrooms and only a couple had 1-2 onions in their entire soup. Normally, the fat is trimmed off of the steaks as they are cut. This time, all the fat was left on and cut through making several fatty pieces. Maybe some people prefer that? I don’t. It just seems like they were cutting corners on some things even though it was 5pm on a Monday, so not busy at all.

Server was great, so was the cooks. Waited nearly 50 mins just to be sat down after our reservation time.

The food was delicious! I’ll start with that, we didn’t wait very long to get seated but once we were, it took almost 20 minutes to see a waiter. The menu seemed a bit unclear to us being that it was our first time attending and we came as a party of 6, they explained to us that they don’t have a family deal or anything of the sort. We were very hungry upon arrival and decided to get appetizers, which came out with our meal rather than before. The portion sizes of protein were very small compared to most hibachi restaurants i’ve been to, but nonetheless the food was very tasty and filling! When we arrived “happy birthday” was being sung all over the restaurant, so nice for the employees to engage with the guests in such a friendly way, but once it was our turn to get sung Happy Birthday only 2 associates came…while everyone else had like 4 people. It was busy, understood but it you’re going to incorporate such things, make sure it’s applies to everyone. Ultimately, we knew the restaurant would be pretty busy so we didn’t care much for the ambience or atmosphere. Despite the small portion sizes, the food was very good.
