Contemporary American | Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, The Strip

The service, food, and atmosphere were wonderful. I have Celiac disease, and the staff were very accommodating (they even brought out complimentary gluten-free bread!). The food and cocktails (especially) were expensive compared to what I'm used to, but in line for Vegas standards. We ordered a beet and arugula salad, a side of mashed potatoes, and the passionfruit paloma, all of which were delicious! Highly recommend and would go back again in the future. More

My friends and I stopped by to try Alexxa's for the first time for dinner and really enjoyed it! Their cocktails were amazing. I recommend Nicole's Blueberry Mule and Jamie's French 75. The food we had was also very good! I definitely want to come back to try more. The baked cheese dip and prime beef sliders were my favorite. Note that these are small plates servings, so it was perfect for our quick bite before a night out. Really fun, laidback atmosphere on the strip. More

Service and food were excellent. I had a filet that was cooked perfectly medium rare and I absolutely love the elote. This has become one of our go to places. We dine early around 5PM so the bar next door is a bit noisy, I am sure because that is during their happy hour. More

As a long time Michael Symon fan, my expectations were pretty high. They were surpassed. The staff was personable and at the top of their game. The food was superb. The prime rib was the best I've ever had; the English peas blew me away; the Caesar salad was definitive. I would have loved to have dessert but simply could not eat another bite. I haven't even touched on the cocktails or the spirits and wine collection. Amazing experience and not to be missed! More

Came here for my dad's bday. We got the prix fix meals and my dad got the wine pairing. Everything was beyond our expectations and absolutely delicious. His favorite wine pairing was the Burgundy Pinot Noir with an entree. We were not familiar with French cuisine and our waitress Laurie and bardtendress Deborah were both patient with explaining each course, and even helped us spell a few so we can remember it for next time. My mom and I ordered some oysters and oxtail on the side--couldnt pass that up-- and they recommended when they could bring it out to flow with the course. The overall ambience modern, cozy, and intimate. Overall, we will visit again for our next special occasion. More

Discover Las Vegas

Second only to gambling the world’s most recognizable gaming destination, restaurant culture in Las Vegas is loud and proud. A popular outpost for Food Network stars’ restaurant offshoots or New York and Los Angeles restaurateurs looking for space and an eager audience, Las Vegas has been a real player on the culinary scene for years, despite its landlocked situation (unsustainable though it may seem, fish abounds.) In addition to the glitzy big names of casino restaurants, the city off-the-strip is dotted with strip malls many of which have become food destinations of their own. Whether its regional thai or better sushi than you ever thought could be served in the desert, the world is your, figurative, oyster in Vegas.
