Paid over 200 dollars for my wife and I to have the VIP experience. It got us a reservation time and a seafood tower and unlimited drinks. Well the place was empty so the reservation didn't matter. The seafood tower was the same stuff you can get on the buffet, except the lobster. It was so frozen we couldn't eat it. We were never told it was iced, since we like hot crab legs and lobster. Neither one of us drink so the unlimited drinks was useless. Food was bland and tasteless and most was thrown away. I wouldn't go back if it was free. Waitress was useless also, we seen her three times in 2 hours.
Food was cold, chewy and tasteless. Selection wasn't impressive either. Had to throw more food than I could eat. Total disappointment! This ruined our 1st marriage anniversary lunch!!
Food was excellent. Lots of new foods that I tried for the first time. Excellent.
The VIP experience for $98 and I thought it was too much, but once my husband and I sat down and ate it was very much worth it!!! I will definitely do this again when I return.
The food was very good! Everything is made fresh! Amazing and I will definitely go back!
Tons of options on what to eat!
Food was cold, service was poor, dirty dishes sat on the table and the server didn’t come clear dishes, seafood tower was literally FROZEN couldn’t even eat it.
Was better than grandma imagined she loved it
For basically $50 extra per person you get unlimited drinks, a giant seafood tour just for your table and you don’t have to wait in line. To get unlimited drinks for the regular buffet is an extra $25 anyway, so for an extra $25 you can skip the line and save hours. I’d pay that not to stand in line any day.
Quick wait, incrediblely attentive staff, food was absolutely amazing. We got the VIP experience and it was well worth it.
Horrible food, very seasoned meat that instantly makes me sick, null variety and unpleasant visual quality and vip experience is a scam
The service was shocking food was good but this did not make up for the overall unpleasant experience we left so disappointed after being excited about dining here for months on a special day for us as a couple.
I reserved a table for a group of 9 people for a birthday. I did the VIP experience with unlimited alcohol drinks and seafood towers. Bacchanal already has amazing food but the VIP experience is absolutely worth every penny. It was really nice skipping the line, very little wait time. The table for our group was unlike other normal group tables, we had a beautiful long wood table with velvet red chairs. It really made us feel important. The waiters were very accommodating and made sure our drinks were always full. They checked on our seafood towers and brought it in a timely manner. I would more than happy do this again and again.
They were extremely accommodating - i did not read the fine print on how much it was going to cost not being a diamond member. The food and service was excellent. i would go back
The food quality is horrible! Too much overrated to be named by the New York Post #1 Buffet in the Country!!! Over priced for the quality!!!
The cashier so rude for us.We have 6 people group, waiting time so long , and the food too salty.
I accidentally reserved VIP it was regular seating! While we did not intend on spending as much as we did on Bacchanal, I must say that the VIP experience itself was still very nice. The seafood tower had 2 full fresh lobsters, several King Crab legs, snails, and oysters, items you cannot get at the regular seafood section of the buffet. Unlimited drinks was also a great plus. One criticism is that the Brisket/Wagyu American beef we got at the American station were more than well done and dry. The Asian food section was also unimpressive. It's clear that the stars stations are seafood and dessert, and others are down to personal preference on how else to fill up. Nonetheless, we drank and ate to much content!
Not happy with value. Inattentive wait staff. Not great food.
The only thing special about the VIP was you didn't have to wait in line to enter. Second would have been the drinks being included BUT our waitress was horrible! We waited almost 25mins before she came to our table to take our drink orders. And when we wanted refills we had to bother other waiters. And they would inform her and she still would make us wait. It was so bad one of the other waitresses just started to serve us and checked on us because they was tired of us trying to flag her down. We gave her an tip also because she served us 100% better out of kindness. She kept apologizing for our waiters bad serves.
The buffet food was GREAT! But the seafood tower wasn't worth it at all... everything on the tower was also being served on the buffet with the exception of the lobster. And what made it really bad was they gave us 3 lobster half. 2 of them didn't have any meat in them. We showed our waitress and she laughed and said it must of fell out while they was building the tower and then she walked away! She didn't even inform the kitchen or anyone! Also as you can see in our photo our tower was lacking! More ice than seafood. Even our waiter said so and made a joke saying "it must be training day in the kitchen". but she didn't do anything about it... I went and got some crab legs from the buffet for my boyfriend due to our tower only having about 5.
It was my boyfriends birthday dinner and this was a bust! We should have waited in line like everyone else, then went to a bar afterwards... it would have been a better night.
I felt horrible about his birthday dinner. A million places to eat in Vegas and I picked the wrong VIP.
Food was good but not worth spending double for the vip experience. They didn’t even see my reservation at first, manager and hostess were very nice. Service was ok for a buffet.
great food esp the VIP package which is worth the money
It was a very good experience and I recommend it. The food was good and the setting was nice. I recommend you make reservations.
Overall, without any prior experience, it was pretty nice, but the next night we went to another buffet in town that was WAY better than the Bacchanal and it was half the price.
All-in-all, if you've got the money to burn and time to visit other buffets, this place is fine, but if you're on a budget for time or money, then I'd go somewhere else.
Roasted vegetables were ice box cold, slow to serve/seat VIP reservation, prime rib was good, but was supposed to be Wygue. Cheap Coors light and horrible house wine for VIP. Not worth the price. Would not chose to eat here again.
So fun! Amazing food. Definitely with the extra price for the VIP experience. Right to the front of the line, free wine, and a seafood tower! Definitely going to do this again. A must if you are seeing a show that night.
food was great. how ever 100 a person to not have a anything more special then the other guest was not worth the price or experience. no special treatment. no special table. actually we asked to be moved away from the major walk way to the food. the seafood tower was the only difference. we could not finish it. We did not get to get head of the line (which was part of the 100 ). over all don't spend the extra. rebecca klingemann
The VIP experience is high priced and did get us seated quickly though there wasn’t a long line at the time. Because we started eating at 1:30 there was no seafood available so the seafood tower was nice. They did start serving seafood at 3:00 while we were still eating. The white sangria was great. This is a good experience for a buffet.
Absolute worst value! We did the VIP experience and it was so not worth it! The regular price for the buffet would be too much, let alone what we paid: $100/person. Food was mediocre at best and barely warm. Service was slow.
Lots of choices, something for everyone. The seafood is overwhelming! Great quality and quantity
My expectations were met and more.
Super awesome! Worth it to spend a little extra to get my entire family of 10 to skip the crazy long-weekend-holiday line for 1pm lunch! And the bonus was we got an amazing VIP seafood tower! Freshest seafood I've had at the buffet! Needless to say my family is happy so I am happy too! Recommended!!
The food at the Bacchanal is seriously delicious, and the variety is incredible. Making the reservation through Open Table locks you in for the $98 VIP Experience, which might sound like a lot but is definitely worth it to avoid the 2-3 hour wait time otherwise required for walk-in dining. In addition to the reserved spot, you also have a (gigantic) seafood tower (all of the buffet seafood such as crab legs, shrimp, oysters, etc. PLUS lobster tails) and all-you-can-drink (wine, beer, sangria, champagne). It was a great experience. :)
It wasn’t completely clear which line up was for Open Table’s VIP reservations. Fortunately we got there a bit earlier than our 12:45pm reservation time but the line up was long and we had a relatively shorter wait than everyone else.... 45mins.
Loved the seafood tower and bottomless mimosas. Selection and food quality was one of the best I’ve ever had. Service was great. It deserves the title of #1 buffet in the USA.
Made my 50th birthday celebration truly memorable.
We were there on 0218 which was a super busy day for brunch and with the opentable vip experience we were put at the very front of the line and waited approximately 15minutes before we were seated which was excellent. Be sure to prompt your server that you want your seafood platter to come as soon as you get there.
I was so happy to have this VIP package for my birthday celebration.
There was only one thing I don't like. When I tried to talk to the staff at front desk to get my reservation, the lady was so impatient and had almost showed her upset face to me. I understand that there are a lot of people waiting, and she was serving so many people at that time, but it was not professional and nearly unacceptable in a high-end-on-the-strip hotel in Las Vegas.
However, the second lady who helped me was super nice and friendly. I had a great time and great food there.
I went on time to my reservation and had to stand in line for an hour and a half to check in. Then they told me it would be another hour to be seated. Why make reservations if you can’t make the time?! It was very frustrating and disappointing.
The shellfish platter smelled so strongly we asked the wait staff to remove it. We actually were afraid it might make us sick. The rest of the buffet was ok, but not phenomenal.
Booking the VIP reservation package on OpenTable is the way to go to avoid the wait, and the complimentary seafood tower is spectacular. Easily worth over $100 on its own! The rest of the buffet is also good. Some things are great, and you can eat unlimited good meats and seafood, so I think you definitely get value for the money. But I did find some of the foods a little lackluster in flavor and texture, a little inconsistent. I mostly gravitated toward the dim sum and sushi.
Nice variety of food offered and warm comfortable atmosphere. Dessert bar was quite extensive.
