North Italia - Las Vegas
Great food, great service, North is a go to for us
It took a lil while for Oscar to warm up as I asked for a couple of things and he seemed to not like it too much. After a while he asked us if we needed anything and was fine.
We took a friend for her 1st time there and she is a fussy eater and she was pleased. She will be back I'm sure Tim. Overall another good meal at a Great Place and we will be back for sure.
This restaurant makes their pasta fresh everyday and offers many different pasta choices you may have never had. In addition to their pasta , the pizza is incredible ! I love the way the chef creates and features new pizza combinations daily as well .I personally love creative chefs, it makes for an exciting place to have dinner. A very relaxing and warm atmosphere too.
Always good. Sunday with 50% off wine “extra good”.
We went for brunch. Shared a bottle of wine and had plenty of food. The ricotta bread, egg wrap and squid ink pasta. Delicious.
Food was okay, but 1. The service was just awful. My friend finally had to cancel dessert order.2. The noise leval so bad it was a strain to converse. Ive been to N. Italia many times and was introducing her ro it. Bout she'll reurn.
Ahead of our dinner, we made a reservation for 7:45 pm on a Saturday night. We arrived just before 7:45. Notwithstanding, we were not seated until 8:05. While the delay was frustrating, the service was generally good. We started with the Burrata which was the highlight of the meal.
When we received our entrees (Bolognese Pasta and Diver Scallops), the pasta was barely lukewarm. Our server was highly sympathetic and had a new bowl prepared. In the meantime he brought some house bread and butter. The Diver Scallops were average. The plate was hot and there was a decent portion size. However, the plate was overly salty.
When the pasta returned it was notably warmer. The pasta was al dente. However, the sauce was not my favorite. Still, that may be a mere preference. Towards the end of the meal, our waiter brought a dessert menu. We opted to order the hazelnut torta with salted carmel gelato. On paper, it sounded excellent. However, the cake was overly dry. The gelato was ok but prefer store bought Talenti.
The atmosphere as a whole was good. This is a casual italian restaurant. It is loud. There is a decent sized bar. I enjoyed being able to see directly to the kitchen. Our waiter was great and provided good service. Still, as a whole our trip left much to be desired.
Great time as always, just a little slow on the service side. Drink refills took a little while.
Great service and love the vibe! Try the malbec-so yummy and great price.
Great service! Could not secure a reservation over the phone but could over the internet. Says something about the Hostest capability. This a VERY LOUD restraunt with wide open seating and needs some noise panels to lower the noise and improve the ambiance. Limited selection of food as the make things from scratch. Not a knock, just understand the selection is not large. Food was slightly above average and not a place for pizza. Other guest was pleased with pasta dish. Will attempt another visit and look towards pasta dishes instead of pizza.
Little expensive but the food and service is worth it
It's a great place to enjoy amazing Italian food. From appetizers to desert, everything I have had is top notch.
We come here quite a bit but the waitress this time was not attentive and not friendly. She was mostly MIA and kind of flippant and rude taking or orders and requests
Great food, great service and great experience! As always
Great food, good wine, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was phenomenal. We were here to celebrate a special Birthday dinner and she sure did feel it ♥️
So so good the food is amazing service was excellent
It was great but did take a really long time to get our entrees. We were there over two hours and while the server apologized they did nothing to offset the wait or offer any dessert or anything comped. We will be back but we’re disappoitned they ran out of one entree before we could order it and we dined at 6:30, not later so you would think kitchen would plan for more short ribs that early.
Eight ladies met for lunch today. North Italia doesn’t ever disappoint and today was no exception. Service and food were amazing! Our orders included pizza, pasta, salads, burger, meatballs and mussels. The service was excellent and the chairs are very comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars on overall was because there was a slight issue with our entree salads and they came several minutes after the other entrees. They were delish when we got them. Definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
We love this restaurant, the food is excellent, very friendly service. The only complaint we have, is one of the busy boys kept propping the door open and it was freezing. We requested several times they close the door, however, the kid kept propping it open. It was very unfortunate, as it was 32 degrees outside and very windy, so we were a little chilly. Had the waitress and other employees approached him and told him to stop leaving the door open he might have listened, but they just closed it and never told him directly. Surprised he didn't get the hint though. In hind sight we should have asked for the manager, I am sure he would have put an end to it. We noticed the hostess also propped the door open in the waiting area, so we did stand there and freeze till we went over to the bar to wait. Even though we had this issue we would absolutely go back, this time we will tell the manger if the insist on leaving the door open in freezing windy weather. This was new years eve, 8:30 p.m.
The small plates are awesome to share & cocktails are tasty. We will definitely be back!
New Year’s Eve: They has the regular menu and also offered a list of specials. Everything was delicious. The bottled wine is more expensive than other places, starting at $50.
We loved our meal at North Italia! Everything was great! We will be back!
Been there several times Service always very good This time not so good
ALWAYS FANTASTIC. We have yet to find a flaw in their Armour as they excel every time we get there.
We have made this our Sunday Stop For Spags & Balls like we always had every Sunday beit at Grams, Moms or our house. There are only 2 of us in our home so to make it easy to get Macaroni we go to Nort Italy. Sorry I took the H off Tim but thats the way we always said North, Nort. What can I tell you as we are both Italian.
We started with the Calamari with arugula and went on to the strata
Excellent value and the food and drink were very good !!
Love the Zucca Chips!! Dinner was great. Our waitress wasn’t too attentive but that did not spoil our evening.
Food is solid and the service was great. Great place to go with a group that doesn't feel stuffy. Come as you are.
Love North Italia. Always a solid choice. I use it for business lunches for 2 or for romantic evenings with my wife or today with a group of 11 friends. They always work out great!
Server was great.
I was not thrilled with hostess and I was early and they wouldn’t seat me til the rest of my party arrived. The hostess said I should wait in the bar and have a drink. Only problem was that when the rest of my party can and checked in, the HOSTESS did NOT tell either them or me that we were all here and seated. What the hell?? They actually told my husband that I hadn’t checked in yet. I finally caught a glimpse of my patty sitting at a table WITHOUT me.
It was our second visit to North. The food was very good. Last time we had a dynamo server. This time the server was...meh. Loved the Chef’s Board. The Seasonal Vegetable Salad with Salad was outstanding!
This was our 2nd visit and it was not nearly as good as the first, sadly. The chicken parmesan was too sweet and not browned/crispy enough for our taste. Scallops were just ok. Cheese board was excellent though.
My wife and I have eaten here multiple times since it opened. It is one of our favorite places to dine when visiting the Las Vegas area. We like it so much that we have emailed a request to open one in Seattle where we live. Tonight, I had the spaghetti and meatballs, while my wife had the Caesar salad. Unfortunately, the pasta was subpar. Any good Italian knows pasta must be cooked al dente. The pasta was so over cooked it nearly dissolved in your mouth. Yuk !! And the tomato sauce lacked flavor. I was thoroughly disappointed. The meatballs had good flavor, though...not enough to carry the seasoning for the entire dish. My wife’s Caesar was perfect. Our wine and service was good. We will be back because we know they can do good food.
Great place for simple, handcrafted food.
Good food menu is varied
Good food. Restaurant is always a bit too loud and lately service is VERY slow (in getting your food once it’s ordered)
Everything was good at North Italia, ambiance, food, service. The Braised Short
Ribs on the Polenta were outstanding, beautifully done, as well as the Short Rib Radiatore, always good.
First time visiting this restaurant and we were thrilled with the food and service!! Highly recommend - we WILL be going back!
Delicious food in a lovely environment. Great service with no hint of being rushed to leave, even though we stayed there for awhile.
Food is always fantastic and ambience is great! Staff is super nice but service this time around was very slow and the restaurant was not busy. Our waiter was in training and both were very nice. We felt the trainer could have helped move things along a little better but perhaps that's all part of the training. Overall one of my favorite places to eat!!
