- PPatrickVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was a great place to eat prior to the Giants game. The mid-day menu was offered and we wanted more than finger food so we both had the burger and it was terrific! The service was attentive and the food came out in a reasonable period of time. The walk to the ballpark took less than 10 minutes. Very convenient and good!More infoMarlowePrice: Moderate• American• SOMA•4.5
- DADavidAVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •25 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWhat a memorable and delicious sushi meal. Unique and flavorful miso soup, with a slightly smoky finish. Perfect, light, crisp karage, slightly elevated. Oversized futomaki in several variations, and the star - custom Inari in a soy wrap unlike anything we’ve tasted. Get the 5 piece flight - ours was salmon, tuna, crab, scallop, and bulgogi. The show stopper was desert - a signature basque cheesecake that was strongly charred on top. An unexpected but superlative bite. The room is casual with a bistro vibe, and the simple restaurant name may suggest fast casual, but this was a memorable upper end meal and at a very reasonable price. Thanks to all at The Roll for a great experience.More infoThe RollPrice: Moderate• Sushi• SOMA•4.8

- UUsmanLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jul 5, 2025I have been to many gyu kaku locations, but this one stood out with the level of attention the wait staff gave us. They were incredibly patient and walked us through the entire menu. Ultimately they helped us choose the Yakiniku set menu and helped us replace any pork items as our entire group didn’t eat pork. Highly recommend the location and really big props to the service teamMore infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - San Francisco, CA | South of Market (SoMa)Price: Expensive• Japanese• SOMA•4.6
