A Yank Sing signature dish of minced Kurobuta Pork, scallion and ginger wrapped and steamed in its own aromatic broth.
Good food and quick service.
We finished a great weekend in San Francisco with bunch at Yank SIng. Sadly, no carts with delectable bites being rolled around, due to COVID measures, but we were able to order online at our table and the food came out very quickly. Great food and service. If you have never been, you must try Yank Sing!
Very dissatisfied with both the food and service. We’ve eaten here many times before and this was a total disaster
Best Dim Sum in SF! Period. Never disappoints.
It was great. Food - Amazing! Service was 200 no percent. Thanks
The food was excellent and eating outside was great. The ordering process was east too. We had a great Mother’s Day at Yank Sing
The check-in process was disorganized. The new contactless system of ordering wasn't our favorite with having to pay upfront, including the tip. Two items on our order took a while to arrive, considering we were seated outside the kitchen entrance. Also, we had a stack of empty containers on our table waiting to be cleared before the last two dishes finally arrived. The patrons next to us cleared their own empty containers by placing them on one of the empty tables. The quality of the dishes were fine except for the snow peas. It was served cold as if it was just pulled out of the refrigerator then served. We will most likely not return any time soon until the restaurant is back to its full glory.
Good was as tasty as ever but it’s not the same experience without the dim sum carts. I look forward to the end of restrictions at restaurants!
The food was not bad but was way overpriced and portions were small.
I miss the traditional dim sum experience of the rolling carts abd cannot wait until we can have that again. I’m glad for the food at least in the meantime.
We arrived at the restaurant 25 mins early with our dog and the restaurant was already busy with the customers. But they were very polite and kind, quickly provided us the table we desired.
Whoa, the dim sums were fantastic! We’ve had very good dim sums in all of the New York City but by far Yang Sing dim sum was the best one!
The foods are not good, and highly overpriced.
Very good food, good quality food. A bit expensive
First rate service (professional, friendly, and fast), delicious food, great attention to detail, great place to have a conversation, highly recommended!
Limited menu and very limited servive. Placing an order online is very convenient and paying at the moment. Plus side is the food comes very quickly. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant dining or outside dining. The negative side is you getting ignored because you've already paid. Finding a wait person person is like hailing a uber during peak time.
4/3/21. Small menu compared to Rincon location that didn’t include many basic items.
Food was great and safety measures were in place. The e-menu and payment app was a nice touch. Only draw back to the experience was that portions (like for “Honey walnut prawns”) were really small for the price.
Live their shrimp dumplings and egg custard.
the outdoor setting is perfect, with protection from the rain. It is pretty much self service because of COVID procedures. The food is good but the menu shrank because of the pandemic. Hopefully they can offer more when things get better.
Love it more each time we go.
Great at adapting to COVID. Love how all the water and tea is in it's own cups.
Just love Yank Sing. Prawns & walnuts are excellent, best egg custard tarts anywhere, & Shanghai dumplings are exquisite! And the service is impeccable!
We missed Yank Sing, especially Lina, Raymond and the awesome attentive and friendly staff and the BEST DIMSUM in California and probably the West Coast and all of USA! Looking forward to dining again very soon!
The dim sum is always excellent. Management was beyond friendly. Everything was done to make you feel safe. Best dim sum anywhere
Delicious food!!! So yummy and fresh! Expensive but worth the money.
The ordering during COVID is a bit of a pain, because you order and pay from your phone as you go, so I ended up having like 5 receipts because we kept wanting more. However, the restaurant did say if you don’t want to order on the app they would have someone take the orders in person.
Ambiance is minimal and not impressive for the $$, but if you want great Dim Sum you will get it!
I like the touch less ordering system through the phone. I feel like I was able to get my food faster than the carts because I often order things not in the cart and it can take forever.
Out of the four dishes we ordered, I would only reorder one dish. I’ve been to many dim sum restaurants, I won’t go back to Yank Sing.
A trusty old standby is still excellent despite the difficulties imposed by the pandemic. Service was excellent with friendly service. The food was a bit limited but still outstanding. Looking forward to returning once the cover restrictions are lifted.
Yang Sing has been on my list of places to visit for over a year thanks to an IG account I follow (@eatthissf) and it did not disappoint! There are no carts to go around the tables but there is a very convenient QR code to the menu which allows for quick ordering and check out. I think I ordered one of everything on the menu - everything looked/sounded so good and I've been craving good dim sum. The BBQ pork buns were amazing - the dough was so light and fluffy with the perfect ratio of pork to buns. I've never ordered soup dumplings before so that was a fun thing to try. We all loved the salt 'n pepper pork and the green beans (always a fave at any Chinese restaurant). We also had our go to staples of shu mai, har gow, pot stickers and egg rolls. I will definitely have cravings to come back here again but the one thing that will haunt me in my dreams is the egg custard. So light, flaky, creamy, sweet, warm....SO DELICIOUS! The staff were so nice and happy to see people. We will definitely be back again soon!
I love Yank Sing. I do miss pre- pandemic carts.. :) but I know that can’t be done this time. I had family visiting from the East coast & they loved the food.
As usual this eponymous SF dim sum place never disappoints! Great service and food
Poor. To exspensive
amazing amazing dimsum and noodles. contactless ordering and paying. Will definitely come again!
I love Yank Sing and try to visit whenever I am visiting home. It's been too long since my last visit, but we managed to make it happen this last trip. I had not been to this location before. The COVID necessary changes meant no carts and made ordering the correct amounts a little difficult, but the food was just as delicious as ever! A great birthday brunch!
So great to be able to sit and eat dim sum. Through most of the pandemic we've been scarfing down dumplings out of styrofoam boxes in our car. Ordering is simple through a QR code, service is excellent and prompt as always. Food was delicious!
Food was delicious and high quality. Service was fantastic as well. Ambience was as best as it could be given that pandemic circumstances.
Even in the pandemic this is a must. I miss the people pushing the carts of hot steaming food but everything still tastes amazing. Worthwhile and we need to support such a great traditional place
