- JJulien n PhilippeBaton Rouge / Lafayette •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our first time going to this restaurant after several friends recommended trying it out. We loved the menu of traditional Creole dishes with a bit of a flair towards gourmet. The food was very flavorful and the presentation was appealing. Definitely like the Boudin Balls that were crispy outside and moist inside with the ingredients blended together. We also had the Fried green tomatoes that were also very good and had a different twist with the sweet spicy bacon jam. The Alligator bites were tender and not dry like many we've tried before, and the glaze sauce on them was really good. The biggest favorite was the pork debris and Andouille sausage eggrolls which were crispy outside and fantastically flavored inside. They had sauce to dip but they were so good we didn't really use much of the sauce. Will be ordering these for sure on next visit. After eating so many Tapas we had to split the entree which was the creole blackened fish of the day. It also was good. Waitress named Sammy took care of us and did an excellent job and was very attentive. Will ask for her next time. Definitely tipped her over 20% for her pleasant personality and being so on point!! --- The only Negative was there was a $5.43 fee if you used your credit card to pay with.....but no fee if cash used. In these days hardly anyone carries cash so...........Let's just say I have a business as well and I claim transaction network fees like this on my business cost of operations and never charge it to my customer. Not a deal breaker as we will be back for the great menu options but will be prepared with cash next time!!More infoCecelia Creole BistroPrice: Expensive• Creole• Baton Rouge•4.9
