I had the stuffed Veal Dish that was overcooked. The veal was uneatable. Dry, no flavor terrible. My wife had another veal dish that was cooked appropriately. Too many other quality restaurants to patronize to ever return to this one. Not the first bad meal I’ve had here.

This was a business dinner for VPs from out of town and The Little Village did not let us down. The food was incredible and the service was impeccable! This will be our go to place to impress!

We had the fish dish special of the day and it was outstanding. Recommended by the wait staff and he was right. My partner loved every mouthful. We also had the 9oz Filet Minion and was cooked to perfection. Matched with an excellent red and followed by coffee the whole night could not have been better.

Hudson was our server and he was spectacular. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and answered all of our questions. The food was good, but the bread was AMAZING! I will definitely be back. Oh and the drinks were good and strong!

We love the Little Village. The house bread is delicious, and so are the entrees we’ve had. We normally love the ambiance of the restaurant, and were expecting the same while celebrating our anniversary. We had a reservation, but were seated in a tight, small table that felt like it had been squeezed in as an afterthought. And they weren’t completely full. BUT...the food was great! 😊

It’s was our 20th anniversary. Our waitress brought us each a complimentary glass of champagne before our appetizer which was very nice and at the end of our dinner brought us a complimentary chocolate mousse on a beautifully decorated plate!! We really enjoyed our evening!! Thanks

I made reservations for a birthday work lunch, which got the birthday girl a free dessert! The food and service were excellent. They offered a cappuccino after lunch which was very delicious. We all really enjoyed the ambiance in the restaurant.

I love the restaurant. Our experience this weekend was good, but we did have one problem. I made reservation earlier that day, upon arrival they advised our table wouldn't be available for 20-25 minutes, it was about 30 before we were seated. It was loud in the restaurant but not a huge problem for my group. Food was hot upon arrival and very good. I understand things happen in restaurants that hostess cannot control; however, a nice gesture might have been for the restaurant Mgmt to offer a free drink while we waited or a free dessert as a token.

It was alright. My boyfriend and I both got pastas, the taste was pretty mediocre. The 'crispy' calamari wasn't crispy and was actually quite soft. It seemed like they fried it earlier and microwaved it kind of soft; the dipping sauce was okay. Service was great, the waitress recommended items and was very kind. The food was bland and seems a bit overrated. I wouldn't go back again unless I was invited.

We really enjoyed Brunch at Little Village. Food was delicious. The Mimosas were fabulous. The tables are set-up rather close together and this was a bit awkward as servers attempted to navigate the restaurant. Sometimes..it took a bit long to get a mimosa refill. Overall, though, we enjoyed it and will be back!

I emailed the restaurant earlier in the day to see if they had gluten free options, I have celiac disease. The manager went above and beyond and printed out the options and found me personally in the restaurant before our reservation and gave me the list. This was a great experience!

The BREAD was probably the best bread I have ever in my life tasted. It was AMAZING!! Excellent wine list and cocktail selection. Good menu. I had the lasagna - very good! Will be back!

Hugh Freeze is an amazing restaurant manager. His staff is always so professional and he keeps amazing chefs on staff to both preserve the original menu but also introduce great new recipes. Our meal last night was fabulous, from the appetizers to the deserts, everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. And finally, Kevin our waiter was the best last night. The Little Village hands down is one of Baton Rouge’s premier Italian restaurants.

Both food & service are excellent as always. This is my wife's favorite restaurant here in Baton Rouge and they did not disappoint. We had our grandson with us who was on his best behavior and our server paid very good attention to him and the night was a success!!

Not first time here, but really disappointed this time. Server was hustling but with 6 tables we had very little contact. Food was not the quality we expected (flavor and temperature) and overall it seemed like a chaotic atmosphere. Price is above average and need a broader choice of wine, not all top end. Unfortunately, with this ownership group of restaurants, if your not a regular customer, you certainly feel like a low priority. Management needs to staff better is my impression.
