We had a group of 5 adults, but two people in our group were 20 years old and they were not allowed to order the non-alcohol mocktails because they could potentially have a trace of alcohol - I’ve never seen this happen before. So three of us were able to order cocktails and the two 20 year olds couldn’t even order a mocktail. The food was good and the server was attentive. The server suggested we pay our bill by scanning the QR code in our table and following the payment instructions - that sounded easy enough, until I saw that the system automatically added gratuity and a $5.99 service fee for using the pay by phone system. We then requested to pay the bill through our server to avoid the added service fee. The server did inform us that 18% was already added and his digital payment device has a screen that defaults to add another 5% tip.
