Slow but courteous service.
Food was very good.
This was our third time to this restaurant and we LOVE it. We will be back!
All around terrific!
Food was great! And Vernon was a FABULOUS server. I can’t wait to go back and take my husband.
Asked for back table in the outdoor seating area and they continue to have a problem of slamming people in too close too each other where you can’t
Move and relax to eat. Going to take a break from there for a while. Servers and back up staff still a little off kilter compared to other Perry’s locations.
They don’t seem to get it.
Outstanding in every way.
Excellent Steak House. Great food and the service is good. Little pricey for a daily visit but certainly a great place for Business Meetings and Special get togethers!
My first visit to Perry’s and it was incredible! The service was the best ever thanks to Penny! She gave us recommendations and they were spot on. She didn’t rush us and just let us enjoy everything the whole evening and experience. The food was beyond delicious if that is even possible but it was. I would highly recommend this place for any special occasion or just to kick back and enjoy some amazing food with friends! Thanks for the surprise birthday dessert at the end of the evening too! Made my night!
Several dishes have table side presentation which is unique and engaging. Food is good overall a decent value but there are other places that are better overall.
Anniversary. Steak was great. We asked to forego dessert. They brought us dessert anyway. Then they charged us $10 for the dessert we didn’t ask for.
Go to place in Franklin TN without having to drive downtown for a great meal
Felt tables around us got much better service and quicker food
Wonderful service, food and atmosphere! Finally a fine ding restaurant in Franklin!
Everything would have been EXCELLENT; however out left over food was packaged for a table of 4 all in the same bag (very confusing, and not so smart when everyone pretty much ordered the porkchops). This left us trying to figure out which plate belonged to who!?!. Our server Rex did bring extra bags to the table, but I absolutely could not eat the left overs since I wasn't sure who they belonged to and we received an extra serving?!? This is my only complaint.
As always, the service was top notch! The food quality and presentation is consistently on point. However, for the first time, we experienced a minor food quality mishap, which, to us was not a big deal and we happily ate and enjoyed our dish because it was so delicious regardless. There was no complaint on our part about our dish but because my husband found a lobster (bone) in our dish the Manager came to our table to apologize, the Head Chef came out as well to apologize, our awesome waitress, Lucy apologized. They went above and beyond for us! While everything they did for us was unnecessary we appreciated their gestures and attentiveness. The team there are not only wonderful, they are professional and you can clearly see they strive for excellence. Perry’s is one of our favorite restaurants and we will continue enjoying going there. We highly recommend visiting and experiencing a level of customer service that is so special and memorable.
We sat at the bar and it almost had a formal beach vibe! Lovely atmosphere and food was incredible. We will be coming back for more special occasions!
Well over two hours for dinner. Waited too long between courses… food great and fortunately we wanted to visit.
My wife & I visited Perry’s steakhouse Coolsprings TN for our 26th Anniversary with my sister in law & brother in law. This was our first visit and we were greeted promptly and sat on time for our reservation. Very busy night as they’ve only been open here now for 7 months. We had an amazing server Vernon who was very friendly, funny and spot on with all his recommendations on our apps, drinks, entrees and dessert Vernon made our night and meal! All of our steaks were cooked perfectly at medium rare, tender and seasoned well. Highly recommend Perry’s for any occasion and hope you have Vernon as your server!
Anniversary dinner had rose petals on the table, food was amazing and everyone was very accommodating and sociable. We will be back, only suggestion would be to tell people the pork chop is 45 oz and can easily be split.
While the atmosphere and service are decent, the true measure of a steakhouse is the steak. The first “14 ounce Prime NY strip” they served to me was at least 50% pure fat and gristle and what little actual meat attached to the giant blob of inedible fat was around Waffle House caliber. This is especially disappointing because this steak was pricier than what Delmonicos NYC charges for the real deal.
They did make the second steak better on return of the first, but you have to wonder with such poor by-products served, how often they skimp on quality and don’t inspect the meat before serving it, or, maybe it was intentional to save costs and increase margins?
Guess we’ll have to continue to drive into Nashville to Jeff Ruby’s or Bourbon if we want to be assured quality meat that meets the standard advertised.
The food was fantastic and brought out in a timely manner despite how busy it was on a Friday night. The food and drink recommendations from our server Jonesy (hope that’s correct) were perfect and he was excellent, definitely enhanced our first-time experience! My only complaint was the choice of music is which seemed out of place and the volume of the music often made it difficult to hear my wife directly across from me. Other than that though, an all around exceptional experience!
Went for our anniversary and could not be more impressed with the service, food and ambiance. Everything was perfect, will def be back!
The pork chop is amazing but what we found to be disappointing were the side items! we have yet to find one that we truly feel is amazing and it’s such a shame because the ambience is great, the service is great, the set up is awesome with the bar and the outdoor area, They just really need to fine-tune those side items… they are just not up to par. My husband and I have subscribed to blue apron meals for about eight years now and we almost don’t want to go out to eat because the food is so amazing that we can have in our home for about $10 a meal. Ironically Perry’s needs to branch out and revisit the side items, perhaps try a blue apron recipe?
All 4 of us totally agreed - entire meal (and Perry's beautiful ambience) were exceptional. Pace of service was a little show but the restaurant was very busy. We LOVED everything, including: 2 spinach salads, 1 Caesar salad and one lobster bisque, fantastic sides: Brussels sprouts and creamed spinach and 4 cut-like-butter perfect filets! Two in our group of four ordered the $41 per glass of red wine. It smelled amazing, and they both truly enjoyed it. On our 'definitely return' list! Without hesitation, HIGHLY recommend.
Vernon was a fantastic waiter! His recommendations of the scallops appetizer and the pork chop were fantastic. Reduced stars given due to 2 steaks requested medium came out almost raw in the middle. They were sent back and recooked.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and were delighted to see rose petals scattered on our table. Great way to start our dinner! We were pleased with all selections (table side pork chop, sea bass, wine). Only thing that was disappointing were the $12 side of veggies which included 8 slivers of squash/zucchini which probably cost the restaurant less than a dollar. They were just plain Jane and boring. Our service was excellent and we will definitely plan a date night there again.
The food was perfect and our waiter, Vernon was outstanding !
We didn’t get a waitress until almost thirty minutes after we sat down. Then she act like she wasn’t really trying to wait us. We didn’t receive any food for atleast a hour or so. Food was good and service was bad this time.
20 year wedding anniversary
Just not as tasty - waiter brought out single side servings when we ordered everything else family style - sides could and should be updated - not as nice as Bob’s but cost just as much and is far out
Large group of 12 and service was excellent!
Service was superior.. food was amazing..a must to experience
Vernon was great!
Food was delicious, the restaurant is beautiful but service was extremely slow. It took 2 hours to get our food. They did offer a free dessert but when your bill is $300 I don’t know if that was much consolation.
ambiance and service were great. Chargrilled oysters were some of the best we have ever had. My steak was overdone and my wife's kabob was cold - like left over cold. Disappointing $300 dinner for anniversary
Location, parking, accessibility excellent.
Bar service and selection excellent.
Server was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service.
Food was delicious and prepared to our request.
The reason for an average review or below 5 stars was one entree was not what we had ordered. So 2/3’s if the meal was served and one of the party was waiting for the others food to arrive. Which was very disappointing.
We had a party of two and were seated at a small table across from each other and it was very difficult to hear and talk to each other as the restaurant was at capacity and the main dining room was an open concept.
In this situation, it would be better suited to seat the party, one on the side and the other on the front allowing them to interact during a celebration while enjoying a top notch meal.
Children running around was brutal. Couldn’t get wine or drinks refilled
Overall, not a great experience. Food was just ok, but very expensive. Service was lackluster and way below expectations. Badly trained servers. We had to ask for silverware 2 or 3 times between starters and main course. They didn’t have S. Pellegríno water (or any other sparkling water), so we had to have soda water. Steak was well cooked, but nothing special. Pork bites starter was dry and overcooked. Ordered an Old Fashioned to start, and it was terrible - tasted like something out of a box and they used small ice cubes instead of a single bigger one, and there was no orange peel. Not great. They need to do a lot better if they want to charge what they do.
