My friend ordered the Meatloaf. Once the dish arrived, he realized the meatloaf included pork. The menu does not state that pork is in the meatloaf. The owner of the restaurant was kind enough to come out to apologize for the confusion. Very kind, caring and considerate. The food alone would make me return. The owner's kindness was the 'icing on the cake'. More

Nice place to go before a show. Its located in the Hyatt, but don't park there as it's expensive. We had a burger, a flatbread and some tacos [hot nashville]; all of it was good and as expected. Service was good and the happy hour specials go to 7 PM. We went earlier [630 PM] and it was quiet. More

I love this restaurant! With excellent food and attentive service, this makes for a wonderful evening. The Porterhouse (which can be shared with several people) is the best steak I have ever eaten. Simply prepared but full of flavor, I can't recommend this enough. More

What a fabulous find! Walked here from Hotel Convington while visiting from Boston. The food and atmosphere were outstanding! Cute little place tucked into an eclectic neighborhood. Started with a smoky Old Fashioned and the charcuterie board. The meats and cheeses were excellent and pistachio relish unique. Short rib for dinner was braised perfectly with crisp outer and medium rare interior. Home made ice cream for dinner. Highly recommend! More

Salazar is the chef-driven restaurant from head chef Jose Salazar. This little eatery is cemented in Cincinnati's up-and-coming Over The Rhine neighborhood just steps away from Historic Music Hall. The menu changes with the seasons as Chef Salazar is constantly creating new fun and creative dishes. This is an ideal place to stop in for a quick drink or come for a full dinner in the evening.

Salazar's menu changes frequently, but there are some dishes that are so popular that the keep popping up again and again. Some of the starters that have appeared on the menu include duck leg rillette, heirloom corn polenta and chicken liver mousse. As for main dishes, some of the signature plates are the ora king salmon with "everything" crust, cream cheese dumplings, pickled Fresno chili, caperberries and dill sauce as well as the burger with aged cheddar, bacon and heirloom tomato.

Discover Cincinnati – Dayton

German heritage shines through Cincinnati’s dining culture, but recently the city’s been heating up with creative new cuisine, too. Cincinnati’s own Chef Jose Salazar was shortlisted for a James Beard Award, bringing national attention to an Ohio outlier. A new crop of farm-to-table European restaurants have been entering the scene as well. Downtown, you’ll find burger restaurants, bars, and upscale bistros. An hour’s drive to Dayton places you in the heart of a growing music scene, and the city is the unofficial funk capital of the country. We’ll cheers to that.
