Primavista Ratings and Reviews
Honestly very disappointing food. “Bruschetta” was basically just white bread with a bunch of cheese dumped on it. Then both our entrees were just the lowest quality. I’d be disappointed had I only spent half what i did at dinner.
Ambiance & view only redeeming qualities. Won’t be returning.
The view and service were amazing, but the food left a lot to be desired. The spaghetti and mahi mahi topped with crab both had very little flavor. The over cooked vegetables that accompanied the fish didn’t have much taste either. The dried blueberries used in the salad were the same tough kind I can get at the grocery store. Overall, I was not impressed and opted out of dessert to avoid further disappointment.
Our favorite special occasion restaurant. Great view of Cincinnati and the Ohio River. Excellent food, impeccable service, attention to detail and a genuine desire to make the customer experience superb have kept us coming back several times a year fo 17 years.
They never disappoint! I had my favorite, veal saltimbocca with polenta and fresh green beans. Followed by bread pudding, by far the best around. My husband had their fresh fish with lump crab and angel hair pasta and said it was one of the best meals he’s had! Primavista is our favorite restaurant and a tradition for our anniversary!
Our first visit to Prima Vista did not disappoint! Clear night, 8:45 reservation, so the lights of Cincinnati made for a lovely view. It was a special occasion, so we splurged - gnocchi was delicious, my shrimp scampi was flavorful, and the dessert special was perfect for two. We had our 7yo with us, and she sampled from our plates but mainly ate the bread and birthday gelato. Pricy for just food, but the overall experience was worth it as a special occasion. Service was attentive and friendly.
This restaurant was very elegant and perfect spot for a special occasion. The food was amazing, and I loved looking at the view. I did feel odd being only 18, as most costumers were older, but I still had an amazing time. I would also advise wearing nice clothing- everyone was dressed up. 10/10
Having made this reservation well in advance indicating the special occasion of sharing the evening with the love of my life who lives out of town and only frequents Cincinnati occasionally, I requested a cozy table for 2 off of the center of the room with a view of the city. What we received was exactly the opposite. We were shown to an awkward table in the main room, in a heavy traffic pattern for the staff and far from any view. Although the food was on par I was disappointed from the moment we sat down. It wasn't nearly the experience I had hoped for.
One of my husband and I's favorite restaurants. We always have great waiters/waitresses/attendants. The food is excellent, you can eat low end pizza, or high end meals, and many in the middle. And don't forget the Tuscan Brownie! Definitely big enough for two to share.
Although the building itself didn’t look amazing, the restaurant made up for it. The wine list was superb and the pasta itself was very nice.
I would recommend a window table if possible although it seemed there wasn’t a table you couldn’t see the view of Cincinnati.
