    This restaurant is downright fantastic. Tucked away in an incredibly romantic courtyard, it gives a reprieve from the festivities of Bourbon street just one block away. The gorgeous rod iron gate at the entrance was enough to pique the curiosity of may a passerby. The inside dining environment is equally impressive with its antique ambiance. The menu is small, but very unique, offering Southern spins on your favorite dishes. I found it very refreshing that they used local ingredients on some of their dishes - my wife raved for days about the local goat cheese on her salad. I would recommend Cafe Amelie to anybody. It is a must go experience for all visitors to New Orleans....More
