13 Gypsies
Price: Expensive•Spanish•4.8(597)13 Gypsies is a cozy, intimate Spanish tapas restaurant. You can also find the influence of other cuisines throughout the menu. Primarily utilizing Spanish techniques to prepare both creative and classic renditions of Spanish dishes, Chef Howard and Chef Kevan operate a true craft kitchen. The two of them prepare and cook most everything from scratch including breads, cured meats, cheeses, sausages, spice blends, pickled vegetables, and desserts. This practice of making nearly everything in house promotes waste-free cooking and higher quality food. Our wines are mainly from Spain, and our beer is Florida local. We are located in a two-story Spanish-style building built in 1923 by Henrietta Dozier, Jacksonville's only female architect in the early part of the 20th century. You will find eclectic, maximalist religious iconography adorning the walls and original floor tile. We have few tables, so reservations are highly recommended. Last seating is an hour and a half before closing time.Rue Saint-Marc
