"What a delightful surprise!! The ambiance was perfect, the food superb and our hostess/host, Candy & Steve, welcoming and gracious. We enjoyed every morsel from the chef's cheese choice to the filet mignon and salad to the carrot cake. Wonderful!!

"My wife and I had a fantastic dinner at Burlingame on the 8th of July. The food was top notch and the service was fantastic. My wife had the Porchetta (amazing), and I had the hanger steak, which was prepared perfectly to my requested temperature. A perfectly prepared old fashion cocktail, and an appetizer of charcuterie and cheeses rounded out the meal, followed by a piece of pecan pie with brown butter ice cream (I'm still craving another piece of that pie!). We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Fernandina."See more

"Outstanding bbq! I had the sliced brisket... melted in my mouth. There was plenty to take home. I had the collard greens and they were tender and delicious. The wedge salad with avocado was cool, crisp and the dressing was light, but very tasty. Our waitress was helpful with menu questions and everyone was friendly and welcoming. "Based on the Open Table Reviews and the numerous early bird specials, we booked at 4 Seasons. Were surprised to find it in a strip mall, but we've been pleasantly surprised before. Even though we had a reservation, we were seated just off the open kitchen/wait-staff prep area. We found it loud, but interesting (the Chef had interesting names and colorful comments for his wait staff). We made the best of it. David was attentive without hovering. The bruschetta appetizer was delicious and our 3 entrees were excellent. Just what we'd expect from an Italian Restaurant, though my daughter was a bit put out to (over) hear from the Chef that her summer special Lobster Ravioli was frozen. I asked for my Chicken Marsala and vegetables over pasta instead of the garlic mashed and the spaghetti was perfectly al dente. My wife's seafood pasta was perfectly cooked. We finished it off with creme brûlée and an unforgettable white chocolate raspberry cheesecake (probably also from frozen, but still delish). Overall it was a delicious meal with fabulous discounts (saved $28 overall with specials) and a side of "Reality Chef" thrown in based on our seating area. We'll definitely go again if we're ever in Fernandina Beach, but we'll ask for a different table next time."See more
