"We visited the BlackFly to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We had mussels, scallops, and salmon. All were cooked to perfection. Allison at the bar is always a sure bet. Brian our server did an excellent job. Definitely recommended."See more
"There were 9 in our party. The hostess and server were very helpful.
The food was good but not everyone thought it was a great meal.
But we sat outside, had great service and a very nice evening.
The fact that it was a Tuesday night and not a weekend night probably made a difference."See more
"Very nice ambiance. Hosts and staff were amiable, professional, and attentive. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and recommended outstanding appetizers (brie in pastry puff and the Cajun egg roll) and entree (salmon dish and pasta primavera with scallops). I will recommend Cellar 6 to visitors."See more
"Parking the car was easy, and it was our 45th Anniversary and we were looking forward to our arrival. We checked in with the front desk and were immediately met with a friendly and warm smile and escorted to our table. The staff were all dressed appropriately, restaurant was very nice and our waiter introduced himself as Richard and our evening began in a great setting. It was very nice.
The negative side should only be taken in a positive vein. It was a rainy evening and my only draw back was to sit in a nice room that had no dress code. People in Blue Jeans, shorts and inappropriate dress for a restaurant did had draw backs. My only regret and it was a deterring factor for the costs incurred.
If costs are to be as they are your going to need a dress code. I often go to your Bohemian restaurant in the Orlando area for Sunday Brunch. Yes its expensive but to look around and see everyone dressed is part of the restaurant experience. This doesn't happen and while so much was right the dress code was far to relaxed for weekly attendance by us. You can make a difference and you should. Think about what others saw and its not just me. You need to keep your repeat customers. Just my opinion."See more
"The setting of this restaurant is so unique. It is completely outside, no inside seating at all. It is set inside a nice garden, with lots of flowers and other plants. The menu is a bit odd. Some things are not explained very well, and the drink menu doesn't list prices. If there was any large complaint, the menu could use an overhaul. Not necessarily the content, but the layout and descriptions.
We ordered a caprese salad & charcuterie tray. Both were huge, way bigger than expected based on the price. The caprese was great, and came with a lettuce salad and watermelon slices. The charcuterie tray had different types of cheese, nuts, berries, bread, and some raw vegetables.
In our visit, the weather was very nice, and there was a musician playing a piano. The service was a bit slow, but the waiter was nice and generally did a good job. It made for a relaxing evening. If you were in a rush, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
Overall it was a great experience, but I'd recommend being aware of the unique setting."See more
