We love this place! When my wife and I get a chance to have a nice date, we love to go to Blood & Sand. Every piece of food, every cocktail is top notch. Because of their focus on cocktails, this is one of the few places where I ask things like, "Make me something good with Mezcal as the base spirit. Surprise me!" And, of course, they come back with something amazing. More

Food is amazing. Presentation on point. Atmosphere is on point whether a small gathering or large, they are set up to handle any size party. The low lights offer an intimate experience and the patio offers an open but secluded drinking atmosphere. I love the scallops and the cheese platter. You can’t go wrong with anything here. The drink selection is amazing and the food is above any other in soulard. More

Go here for birthday lunches twice a year. Never disappoints. Everything is delicious but the chicken fried steak is unbelievable! They make the best Cosmo's in St. Louis. Birthday dessert is apple pie which is to die for. Adam was our waiter this time and was very attentive and funny. Melissa has been our waitress the last few years and she even dropped by to say hi. Can Annie Gunn's be expensive? Yes if you go for dinner. You can also get expensive things at lunch but a lot of reasonably priced things on the menu. Lunch is the way to go if you want the experience and don't want to spend as much. More
