- OTOpenTable DinerHawaii •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI’ve eaten here several times for dinner & this was my first time having lunch here. The service was great as usual, ambience is always beautiful. I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich & it was absolutely delicious. They changed the lilikoi crème brûlée to a traditional style which is what I prefer. Another lovely experience!More infoHaliimaile General StorePrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Makawao•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoGreat location, view, venue. Awesome blues music. The staff was a bit overwhelmed and they stated as much and it took quite a while to get our drinks, but we knew they were busy and probably understaffed and we didn’t get our food till about 15 minutes of music remained, but it was awesome once it got there! Delicious, pizza and salad. Yes, I would go again!More infoOcean Organic Farm and DistilleryPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kula•4.9

Discover Makawao
When thinking of Maui, Hawaii, you can just hear the palm trees rustle in the breeze, the waves breaking on the shore, and ukuleles playing in the background. Nestled in the foothills of the Haleakala volcano is Makawao. Though small in size, the town carries a high-quality level of dining one would expect from the bigger neighborhoods of Lahaina and Wailea. Ahi tuna, mahi mahi, and shrimp are among popular menu items here. You can also find sushi, steak, and Italian meals for those who want more familiar options. Top restaurants here typically serve up outstanding Hawaiian, American, and seafood dishes. There are also more casual restaurants that offer a variety of foods from bar-style cuisine to Mexican restaurants with authentic dishes.
