- RRalphvipSan Francisco Bay Area •24 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our first time at L’Ardoise, a little gem of a French restaurant in a quiet section of Noe St. We could not have been happier with the food, the wine, the service, the entire experience. The menu offers many choices and there were specials in addition. Be sure to book well in advance.More infoL'ArdoisePrice: Expensive• French• The Castro•4.8

Their wine selection is outstanding with great Spanish wines. I think they have a full bar, or soon to be. Great tapas place.More infoCanela Bistro & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• Spanish• The Castro•4.7

- TTimSan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis is a jewel in the Castro—high-quality food and an unforgettable experience. Frances is the place to go if you're looking for a special place for a date night or a special occasion. We are adding Frances to our favorite list and will return for more great food. We highly recommend the Chef's tasting menu and wine pairing. Just sit back and enjoy your company as the food streams out of the kitchen.
