Rome Restaurants

We were in Italy on a family vacation with 15 people. I researched Il Barroccio before our vacation and was excited to try it out. We booked on Open Table and when we arrived we were treated like family! We had our own private room upstairs and excellent service. Luigi was serving us the whole time and again, he treated us like family. He recommended appetizers for the table and they were delicious. Bruschetta, eggplant, meats, cheeses, flatbread and an endless bread basket was devoured. We ordered entrees to split, and lots of wine. The service and food was phenomenal.

Great hidden location near all the sights of Rome - highly recommend. Tapas and good cocktails - even good chicken fingers for the kids!

Lovely restaurant. Our last night in Rome and dinner was perfect. Great wine from Sardegna was suggested by our waiter . Enjoyed our food pasta carbonara, special seafood pasta and tiramisu for dessert. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Never felt rushed or uncomfortable even though I spoke very little Italian, our waiter was very kind and helpful.

It was the Last night in Rome with my kids, and we wanted great pasta. Read about this place, and it was exactly what we needed : Great service and great food! Highly recommend.

Great restaurant right with a fantastic view of the Pantheon if seated outside. The food was fantastic at a very reasonable price we went with all local food and wine and the waiter was an absolute gentleman. We were very well looked after and had a great evening
