- OTOpenTable DinerHouston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWow! We’ve been to almost every fish restaurant in the Houston area and Katie’s was, by far, the best. If you want really fresh fish that they catch with their 11 boats you are in for a real treat. Also, it was far less expensive then the premier fish restaurants in the Houston area.More infoKatie's Seafood HousePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Galveston•4.6

Discover Galveston
This popular Gulf Coast town of Galveston is a solid choice for great seafood. This island city features innovative offerings such as entrees of sautéed shrimp and Andouille sausage prepared with cheesy grits and topped with an in-house Creole sauce alongside freshly cut asparagus. Elsewhere on the island, enjoy a regional favorite, cornmeal-fried catfish. The fish is dredged in a home-made fine cornmeal and lightly fried. It is then served with sides of truffle fries, au gratin potatoes or creamed spinach. Gumbo is another local favorite. Order a spicy bowl of shrimp, chicken or sausage, simmering in a crab broth and topped with a ball of steamed white rice. With Mexican, Italian, pub cuisine and casual dining all present, Galveston has something for every appetite.
