Wonderful experience from the moment entering the restaurant to even being offered to have our leftovers pizza held while we attend a show. Paco was amazing and so were all the other attendants. Everyone made us feel so welcome. My nieces that eat barely anything enjoyed their meals to their entirety and we had wonderful food and drink suggestions. My only wish is that I had tried the restaurant sooner.

Ideal date night location in downtown Houston. Service is always great as well as the food.

Just had an incredible dining experience! The blackened catfish and grits was absolutely exceptional - honestly the best I've had in a long time. The fish was perfectly seasoned with a beautiful crust while remaining tender inside, and the grits were creamy and flavorful. Our waiter provided attentive and friendly service throughout the meal, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. If you're looking for southern-inspired cuisine done right, Taste should be at the top of your list!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Our experience was great! The waitress Brittney was super attentive and recommended us a lot of great dishes to pair with our steak! I would definitely love to come back!
