Everyone in our party was looking forward to the "giant" pretzel, but what a disappointment! For the $17 price what we got was a cold loaf of bread camouflaged with a glistening butter coat lightly sprinkled with sea salt. Certainly not worth the price. Everything else was good, including the service. Won't make that mistake again.

Bone-in Ribeye was outstanding and perfectly cooked medium rare. The crab cake appetizer is the best in Houston. The French bread they serve is the best of any steakhouse in Houston - perfect crusty exterior and soft airy interior. The service is impeccable - water always filled, waiters nearby and knowledgeable sommeliers. This is the quintessential steakhouse in Houston. Beautiful interior. Homegrown excellence.

Irma’s is a great downtown restaurant. We ate there before a Rockets game as it is easily walkable to Toyota Center or Minute Maid Park for that matter. The service was stellar, the food delicious and the atmosphere inviting. Will definitely go back when our activities take us downtown.
