Restaurants near George R. Brown Convention Center

This restaurant is not actually on Discovery Green so don’t look there. It’s a block away in the embassy suites hotel. If it’s crowded downtown your phone may take through the park. Very frustrating.

Service, Waiter, and food were excellent! Great ambiance for a date. Food was the best. The best steak I have eaten. We had Bone in Beef, Boneless ribeye as entrees. Starters we had these mini flat tacos with beef (can’t remember name); 5 star. Sushi roll; 5 star. Flaming avocado was great. The Avocado was spicy but I love spicy. Definitely recommend and we are definitely going back!

We had a very nice anniversary dinner. The escargot and charred octopus were delicious!

Service was amazing! Girardo was very knowledgeable and really knew what he was talking about. Food was fantastic, 10/10.

Great food. Beat lobster bisque I have had in a long time. Asked for a patio table and got forgotten about. Had to go up front to ask for a waiter after about 15 minutes. After that it was a great experience.
