Cambridge Restaurants

As we both like Japanese food, and the restaurant is located just opposite the Corn Exchange, we decided to give it a go. Went for a combo for 2, it was worth every penny. Excellent meal. We know where to have a pre-show meal next time we are in Cambridge. The service is excellent as well.

Food was absolutely amazing, incredibly good value for the portions and overall quality. Had the charcuterie board, chorizo croquettes and scotch eggs. Absolutely incredible. Beer selection is amazing as well. Staff super friendly, great music and really nice vibes. Will 100% be back regularly.

Love this restaurant, very accommodating even though we were late. The food is delicious, doesn’t have to be spicy but it’s all so fresh and absolutely full of flavour. Service is super fast, we had an hour and they served us 4 starters and a main salad and we had plenty of time to eat it all. Front of house staff were lovely and our server was great, not overly attentive but available when needed. We were in a smaller second room and found it was good for ambiance and noise level, could easily hear despite everyone in the room talking.

One of the best sirloin steaks I’ve ever had cooked to perfection medium rare. Chips were too greasy which was a pity. Service was exemplary attentive but not intrusive. Environment was casual yet elegant and made for a very enjoyable evening. Breakfast by the way was equally good. All staff friendly and pleasant except the young barman who seemed a little aloof and inattentive- maybe he’s new. Will definitely revisit.

The cocktails were superb. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and efficient. We were disappointed that there wasn't live music, as that was the motivation for booking. I will check before booking another time.
