   Between the food, views, and service this restaurant was well worth the money. We had classic brisket pho, hot and spicy brisket pho, and prawn summer rolls with peanut sauce. All were fresh and delicious. Best of all was the pickled garlic, which added a delicious balance to the spicy soup. If you’re on the fence, go! You’ll be so glad you did.

   We were seated early so expected to have a nice leisurely meal. The table was tiny so the huge dishes they brought the starters and prawn crackers in filled the table. Halfway through this starter they brought the papaya salad, again in a huge dish. I said to the waitress, where do you suggest we put this, to which she rudely replied, well you ordered it with your starters. I suggested maybe giving us a bigger table to which she flounced off! The same happened while we were eating the salad, the mains arrived. One waitress was lovely the other again just stood there while I removed all the excess stuff from our table so they could put the huge plates down! In the end the manager came over and asked if we were ok. We were not happy. He gave us 20% off and apologised, however my friend and I were really disappointed as we have been to Pho both here and in London and have never had this treatment!

   No deaf-inclusiveness with maximum volume on the speakers at all times and no accommodations made upon request. The waitresses were not happy when we asked to move table and didn’t inform them of a gift code before the printing of the receipt – overall, an unpleasant atmosphere.

   Pho Cambridge - The service was quick and very attentive. Although we went on bank holiday monday we were seated within minutes. Was offered a choice of 2 tables and we took the window table. Food was excellent and service throughout was fantastic. The team were all great and very smiley and chatty too. Would definitely go back.

   We are regular customers and we are used to having outstanding service from this branch. However, we must have visited on a very bad day. We were standing by the door for over 10 minutes, along with at least 15 other customers. Staff were milling around the bar and not acknowledging anyone by the door. When the manager eventually arrived, we were hurriedly ushered to a small corner table. We had to politely remind this manager that we already had a booking to which we received a passive aggressive “you should’ve told me that first”. When we did sit down, the staff were generally quite good. Our order was taken quickly and our waitress was accommodating to our allergies. When the food did arrive, the summer rolls were extremely chewy and prior to this, we overheard the waitress asking another staff member if the chicken “looked too pink” which was very off putting. However, the main curry noodle soup was delicious as always. We hope this poor experience was a one off due to a busy Sunday evening rather than a regular decline.

    Food was excellent as always. It was 6 of us having dinner and a little catch up. Unfortunately by the time of the dessert staff got a bit “quick”. It was visible that they wanted us out. Not all of us had sweets, some had a drink and it was a bit fast to finish and pay. It leaves a bit of a bad taste.

    Very cramped on arrival, had to stand outside despite having booked. Ordered a vegan salad that was basically shredded cabbage and onion, not adequate for a main meal. Other meals were ok, staff polite but didn’t go the extra mile.

    A very good experience in Pho and would go back again! The cost is reasonable - the starters could be reduced by a £1 each, and the offer of a replacement chopsticks or even cutlery would be a bonus. The food is delicious and the ambiance very relaxing and comfortable. The toilets are a hike up two levels once you find them! Staff very attentive. Thank you for a great overall experience 😀

    Food and service was good. What put me off was that the background music was so loud, you couldn’t have a conversation with other people without shouting! This was made worse as the speaker was directed straight towards the position I was sat at! I asked the waiters to turn it down, and apparently they are not allowed. How annoying!

    My second visit to Pho Cambridge, this time with my two adult daughters. As before, the food was excellent and offered plenty of choices, which is particularly welcome for our vegan and gluten-free requirements. We will most definitely be back!

    Really lovely food, super quick service, and very generous portion sizes. Will definitely visit here again! The music was a bit loud for my preference, but it is a very large restaurant so I think it's probably no louder than the volume of people talking to each other. Just something to be aware of in case this impacts you.

    The most delicious and good value for money food that I've had in a long time. the young man who was serving me was excellent and always alert to the requests of patrons. I do enjoy coconut water though but this wasn't available. I go here every time I visit Cambridge and will continue to do so.

    The food is excellent and money for value. Interesting cocktails as well! Only minus was that we sat too close to the speaker and the music was simply bit too loud for a dinner to catch up with friends
