This place is an absolute home run. Amazing food, delightful cocktails, and attentive wait staff, all housed in a spacious, yet cozy ambiance. The Ahi Tuna Tacos were fun, but not overly filling. The Artisan Bread are worth getting, even if you just take them to go. The Scallops on Elote Street Corn were absolutely fantastic; top 5 scallops I’ve ever had. My husband got the Lobster Roll (I’m allergic, so I didn’t partake) and it was actual shelled lobster chunks, not shredded lobster that hides which parts or how much you’re getting. The fries were the only disappointing thing (a little undercooked and the truffle oil tasted fake), but they were drowned out by all the other delicious items on our table. Finished the night off with the Nutella Budino which was the perfect way to finish off a sweet evening.

I ordered the butternut squash salad. Delicious. And service was excellent.

Char Bar is a great local restaurant. Good menu with many choices. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and prompt. Good wine and beer too. The food was very good and served hot. We like Char Bar because it is casual, fun and offers good food.

This was my second visit after a birthday visit for my wife last month. My daughter treated me to lunch for Father's Day. The service, food quality and overall meal was excellent, the best Italian food I've ever eaten in Charlotte. Angela's is now our favorite Italian restaurant!
