Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Maui's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
I have dined at most of the fine dining establishments in the Wailea area, and the Hotel Wailea was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The setting is gorgeous overlooking the lush hillside with palm trees and the beautiful ocean below. The food was phenomenal and the service was attentive but not overly stuffy. I also think it is a great value for the money. I highly recommend! MoreOpenTable Diner -

Wailea is a place where people go to relax on a tropical beach with a cocktail in hand. While this is bound to be the most important to-do item on your itinerary, eventually, you’re going to get hungry. Fortunately, Wailea features a number of amazing restaurants that serve cuisine ranging from Hawaiian fare to classic American dishes. Wailea’s epicurean choices even include vegan, nondairy and gluten-free dining options. Since fish is fresh and readily available, plan to see menu items featuring it for every meal, including breakfast. In fact, you can get a fresh crab and avocado omelet on the island year-round. Appetizer choices include sushi, poke and crispy calamari along with flatbreads. Don’t forget to try adult beverages like Mai Tais, pina coladas and daiquiris.
