The popovers !Got to experience this restaurant beautiful dinnerware with incredibly beautiful expensive water glasses ! Was able to share a soup and sandwich with the friend no problem . All our sandwiches were wonderful, service was wonderful ,the room was wonderful ! For our group it was more of a special occasion and a wonderful dining experience that we don’t do every day . Looking forward to reach a return MoreOpenTable Diner -
We’ve been here before. The bar area is very lively on the weekend which is fun and the sushi is wonderful. We wanted to sit in the window to see the beautiful lights on Michigan Ave. Very romantic area. The dinner menu is very limited outside of the sushi menu. Pretty expensive. Our young waiter was very attentive in the right way. It all went smoothly. I don’t want to dis it but it’s someplace I would only go once a year at this time to enjoy the view if possible to get a window table, which they were very accommodating. I would recommend to friends but with the information I just gave. MoreOpenTable Diner -
This is our 4th dinner at Rosebud and it was excellent as always. I had the special, lobster ravioli with a light sauce and large shrimp which was excellent. My husband had the lasagna which he enjoyed very much. Our 8 month grandbaby was with us and everyone was very attentive to her. I think she enjoyed the friendly ambiance, too. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Beatrix always has a fantastic breakfast and brunch selection. On top of that, their spicy Bloody Mary is phenomenal and they have a lot of gluten free options. Recommend the egg white omelet and the quinoa cakes with poached eggs as but two of many excellent menu selections. MoreOpenTable Diner -
We were blown away by the food once again. The rib-eye (bone in) was hands down the best steak I've ever had. It was so big I took 2/3 of it home and have been enjoying it this week. The creamed spinach was so flavorful. The filet mignon, absolute perfection. Just call this place Better Than Gibsons. A neighborhood gem. MoreOpenTable Diner -
We loved Corey our waiter! He was our waiter for both Bocce ball play and then waited on us during our dinner afterward. We were a group of 12 but he stayed on top of our order, made sure our drinks were replenished on a timely basis and was helpful with selecting food for our large group. A great place for an extended family get together! MoreOpenTable Diner -
I love Nico, one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago! Not only is the food amazing the ambiance is spectacular! My BFF & I went for a quick light breakfast of cappuccinos and croissants, prior to our fun filled wedding gown shopping day. The service was great and set the stage for a truly amazing day. I can't wait to go back! MoreOpenTable Diner -
We read the reviews, mixed reviews in some cases and decided to try it since it was in walking distance from our condo. The owner, waiter, chef, bartender and chief bottle washer greeted us and had us sit in the bar for a few minutes although the restaurant only had about two tables filled. Not a problem. I think he had it planned out for our reservation time and we were early. We were seated by our scheduled time. He was very friendly which seemed to put off some people but I loved it. It kept the atmosphere casual and fun. The food was amazing. I wanted to try everything so I started with frog legs that were some of the best I ever had then the yellow bell pepper soup which was equally good but a little rich for all the food I had planned to eat, then I had the roasted duck. Half duck on the bone and was, again, some of the best I’d ever had. We shared a dessert and I can’t remember what it was but I know it was great as well. We also had a very nice bottle of wine. Will certainly be back when we return. We’ve already recommended it to some friends. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Our fourth meal at Marisol! The service is personal, attentive, and responsive to our requests. Our food was delicious! The chicken entree is wonderful. The preparation of it has changed seasonally, and only gets better with each iteration.♥ MoreOpenTable Diner -
Please note this restaurant is located on the seventh floor of the Four Seasons Hotel. Two different dining environment are available, warm and cozy near a fireplace or a polished indoor patio-like setting with large windows. The food goes well beyond its description. A side of fried broccolini had outstanding flavor and texture, crisp not leaden. A beet salad appetizer split with a family member was presented on two plates, both works of art. Butternut squash soup was the best ever experienced. Halibut was a snow white, thick steak flaky like I rarely see outside of Alaska. Crispy-skinned duck breast accompanied by duck sausage and polenta was a delicious dinner special. I highly recommend this restaurant for a relaxed, quiet dinner with family or friends while visiting Chicago. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Classic old town Chicago atmosphere, classic Italian cuisine prepared very well (not your Maggiano’s “Italian”) Started with a spectacular Kale Ceaser salad, which was amazing but eclipsed by the wonderful cream of mushroom soup. Our pastas were simple spaghetti with red sauce (very rich...a bit much but good) and the papardelle bolognese which was spectacular. Both house made pastas were a bit al dente, cooked to perfection. Main course was Branzino on fennel which was deliciously cooked to perfection! I gotta give the food a 9 out of ten - just great. The issue we had was the background music - basically MoreOpenTable Diner -
It was my first time at this restaurant and would go back again. The calamari is beyond delicious. Great pasta and they make a very good Cosmo. There is valet parking, but it is located across the street from the restaurant (in front of Ditka’s). That needs to be made more clear on their website. I give it an A rating. MoreOpenTable Diner -
We enjoyed our dinner. The service was wonderful, and if you are into a Paleo diet, this place is heaven. The menu offers options for various diets, but the star of the show is BBQ. All three of us loved it. I also thought that given the location and quality, the pricing was very fair. I stayed across the street at Raffaello, so came back to Southern Cut for breakfast. Also excellent! Three large breakfast tacos for $16. Almost more than I could eat. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Contemporary atmosphere without the noise 😍. My friend and I are “of a certain age” and while some of the newer restaurants are nice and have great food, you can’t hear yourself talk! 20 East has lovely decor, a variety of comfortable seating both at tables and the bar, good food and great service! Our waitress, Sandy, was pleasantly accommodating when we asked if the music could be turned down a tad, and also understanding of our slow paced dining. And then the manager Brian stopped by for what turned into a lengthy chat. The food was yummy, and the tab didn’t break the bank. All in all, hard to beat. We also leaned from Brian about the monthly “Tastes of the World” series (see website for details), along with room across the hall for larger groups. We will definitely be back...many times! Calamari appetizer, wedge salad, Cowboy 22 oz steak, filet mignon 8 oz, mushroom side and double baked potato were outstanding, cooked exactly as ordered and flavorful. Totally enjoyed the dinner. Milen was our waiter and he did an outstanding job. We will return again soon. MoreOpenTable Diner -
The renovation is exquisite...stunning...romantic and worth every moment of our time. The service is fitting of royalty and the ambiance makes for a memorable experience. I have only one suggestion...I miss the Christmas Tree on the 12th floor...I would bring that back in 2018. We have always enjoyed great conversation by the tree with good friends. Ate here on a Saturday afternoon before a kid's theatre performance nearby. Prompt, courteous and helpful server who was attentive to 6-9 year old's food tastes,. Food was really good, especially my fried chicken plate that also had great mac, bacon and cheese as a side. Wife had dietary restrictions that were accommodated nicely. MoreOpenTable Diner -
We visited after a show at the Chicago Theater. We'd eaten a very late lunch so we weren't starving, but wanted to have a light meal and some drinks. What a beautiful outdoor space, and even on this gorgeous night wasn't wall-to-wall people (but nicely full and lively). Loved the fire feature. Loved our cocktails. We shared a fantastic cheese plate and huge, delicious salad. I would definitely go here again. MoreOpenTable Diner -
The Seafood Risotto was divine! The shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked and the the flavor was excellent. The Ceasar salad was a pleasant surprise. The dressing was not cream based but very light and flavorful. I truly enjoyed this meal. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Located north of the Chicago River along the shores of Lake Michigan, the neighborhoods of Streeterville and the Gold Coast developed as affluent areas in the wake of the Chicago Fire in the late 19th century. Today, these neighborhoods boast family entertainment centers, fine museums and a variety of restaurants for everyone to enjoy. Families can delight in the fun and festivities along the Navy Pier with burgers, fish and fresh baked goods for nourishment. Going inland in Streeterville, the dining gets a bit more upscale with Chicago deep dish pizzerias and Polish sausage on every corner. Heading north to the Gold Coast will get you fine dining and international food territory. Tender steaks, tapas bars and French cuisine are among the hidden gems.
