We have eaten sushi all over the US, and this was the best sushi we have ever had!!! The tuna roll melted in my mouth and had the perfect flavor combination. We had 2 other rolls that were outstanding as well. The service was amazing. They brought our food quickly and were super friendly. I loved the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for sushi in Chicago!

Stumbled across this place and it was fantastic. Some of the best sushi rolls anywhere and excellent service. Try the chefs volcano roll, it was my favorite. It is a small place so reservations are a good idea.

This restaurant is on the small side, but it's definitely worth the wait. The sushi is amazing. We make sure to get a reservation every time we are in town. The service was as wonderful as the food. Lots of choices for different rolls, and you can't go wrong with any of them.

The sushi was awesome, with some creative rolls. Spicy Miso was really good, specialty drinks were really good. Service was great too. Atmosphere was not great but cozy, background music was awful, but not too loud. Only real disappointment was the bill.

First visit here in a few years and was disappointed. They no longer offer lunchtime 'boxes' which is a great loss. My wife and I shared some tempura and an unnecessarily large sashimi collection. The sashimi was great, but we were not happy at the lack of choice of ordering something smaller and better suited to lunchtime. The tempura was very poor.

We were celebrating a birthday and they made it very special!! They offered a special sushi treat - yum! and green tea tiaramisu which was amazing amazing (so good it deserves 2 amazings). This is our favorite sushi restaurant and it never disappoints. It’s awesome!

We were looking for sushi and read some reviews on Friends. Checked out the menu. Had to try it. It’s small and quaint on the inside. The three of us had a cute table in the back.. noise level was low because they have these cool padded white walls. Dim lighting. But let’s be real.. the sushi! I’ve been all over for sushi. This did not disappoint. We loved the Friends roll, Red Spider and Creamy spicy tuna. Ordered edamame! And a few cocktails! Server was adorably sweet! And attentive! Definitely try it! But book on open table because you will have a wait on a weekend.. you might not even be able to get seated. we went on a Friday and couldn’t get in so I made a reservation for Saturday! It was perfect!
