- SSusanWisconsin •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy husband and I love good food, but he has an exhausting, time consuming job. So we rarely go anywhere "fancy". A few months ago we went to Ruth Chris's for our anniversary. It was fabulous. But I've got to tell ya... this place blew them out of the water! The drinks, the appetizers, the food, the service, the ambiance... on a scale of 1-10??? Definitely a 15!!More infoMo's A Place for Steaks - MilwaukeePrice: Expensive• Steak• Milwaukee•4.9
- JJeffvipSan Diego •25 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAnother amazing dining experience! We sat at the “counter” and saw the entire kitchen operation work like a world class factory! This is a great seat and certainly fun. Food, service and ambience were great! Alanna, our server attentive and friendly. Our steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection. Chef Steve Burgermeister has a special process making MSG steaks the “best” and has clearly created a competitive advantage. All the managers Steve, Seth and Hutch came by to ensure our meal was to our liking. This is the best place in town for a super meal and wonderful team. Thanks to the entire staff.More infoMason Street GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Milwaukee•4.6

Discover Milwaukee
If you’ve never dined in Milwaukee, you might need a translator. For instance, what’s booyah? Small plates are on the rise, but you can still find schnitzel that’s roughly the size of your head. Sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and shaved ham are considered garnishes. Fried Wisconsin cheese curds pair well with beer, and there’s plenty of both. In the 1840s, there was one tavern for every 40 residents. Beer is also put to good use with onions and Worcestershire sauce in a beloved bratwurst gravy. Visit on Friday, and you’re bound to find a family-style fish fry. Roman Catholic immigrants of the 1800s shunned meat on Fridays, and lake perch was cheap. Restauranteurs Louis and Ruth Hirschinger introduced all-you-can-eat fish dinners in the 1940s. Booyah, by the way, is an exotic name for chicken stew.
