   I've been to Avli a few times in warmer weather but today's brunch was absolutely fabulous! Food was exceptional in terms of presentation, quality, value and uniqueness. Service by multiple people was attentive and helpful. Cocktails are memorable. Can't wait to come back and sit on the patio. Great time.

   We decided to try brunch here on Sunday, and I’m so glad we did! Normally, brunch isn’t my thing, but their menu immediately caught my eye with its creative and unique options. It did not disappoint. The yogurt with fruit and honey was a revelation-fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. I ordered the village eggs, and they were bursting with savory flavor; every bite was genuinely delicious. My wife chose the Avocado Tahini Mousse, and it was incredibly creamy, with the avocado flavor shining through in the best way. The atmosphere elevated the experience even further. With stunning views and a beautifully designed yet welcoming space, it’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. We sampled two cocktails-the Old Fashioned (Classic) and the Smoky Trellis. While both were expertly crafted and will surely delight most cocktail lovers, I personally prefer simpler drinks. Still, I could appreciate the skill and creativity behind each one. All in all, this was a brunch worth remembering. If you’re looking for inventive dishes, a gorgeous setting, and a menu that goes beyond the ordinary, this spot is a must-visit!

   Our service and food were outstanding but the white cement walls of the lower level could use a little love in terms of adding a creative Greek feel and flair. A fun, Greek themed mural on the wall would make all the difference in the feel while dining in the lower level.

   The appetizers were top notch; the pork souvlaki was just a little overcooked. (We'd still go back and try something else.) GREAT ambiance and views of the city.

   Quick bite between movies during the Milwaukee Film Festival. The noise level in the main dining room was overwhelming when we entered. The host offered us alternative seats downstairs which was an excellent choice. That dining area was soooo much quieter. I can’t speak more highly for the spanakopita and shrimp starters. We split the amply portioned seared walleye. That dish was OUTSTANDING!! Then off to another movie.

   Good food. Great vibe. Casual but fancy at the same time. Our waiter was very attentive. Food was good however I felt it could come with a small side of roasted veggies or some potatoes to make the meal complete. My husband and I shared the lamb, and it was literally just lamb. Cocktails were tasty. I would definitely go back to utilize their amazing patio

   I forgot what an amazing view there is from this space. We ordered a lot of items to share and they were all outstanding. The ambiance is great. We will be back again soon.

    We returned to Avli after a great first experience. This visit found us with a waiter who was unfriendly. The food was very average this time but most disappointing was the fact that every meat was extremely overcooked. We had the meatballs, chicken and pork. We will return in summer with hopes of a better experience.
