North London Restaurants

I recently visited Parakeet in Kentish Town for dinner with my partner and was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional and full of flavor especially the Seabream. Service was exceptional too, very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was cozy yet contemporary and a relaxed vibe. Just want to say thank you to all for making our evening memorable.

Besides the quality of food and service, I love that where ever we get seated it’s always so comfortable and no matter how busy the restaurant gets , we can always hear each other

The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. We shared the smoked trout, the sole, and a green salad. The sauces with the fish dishes were perfect - complementary, and not overwhelming. The green salad looked a bit plain was was really fresh, and served with a delicate dressing. The wine is very expensive - I think the cheapest bottle was £50 - but very good (we had the muscadet and the trebbiano). The only tiny complaint is that we would have preferred the three dishes to arrive together, but I guess they would if we'd made a point of asking. The setting is lovely too - we were lucky enough to sit outside on a sunny June evening, and it was like being in the Med!

We had a really lovely meal with clients outside. The staff and food were perfect. Only minor downside was the smell of the bins placed in the otherwise quaint outdoor garden :) Will be back! Julie
