The incredible staff at Parakeet differentiate this place from so many others in the capital. They are outstanding - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. I have not experienced the quality of service like this in a long time. Bravo! The food is also excellent - extremely tasty - the leeks! They are out of this world. Who knew you could do something so delicious to a leek. We also had the potato bread and homemade butter, oyster granita, sirloin steak, John Dory fish, tomato salad and side of potatoes. All of it was perfectly cooked and served quickly without feeling hurried. The wine selection is also good - with a strong selection at all price ranges and for all palates. Highly recommend.

Have been going for years, but haven’t for a couple. Great to see everything is as good as ever - amazing food, attentive and knowledgeable service! Hard to be good, even harder to remain consistently good over time. Truly some of the best food in north London! Front garden area is new since last time I went and is beautiful with a lovely ambience! Is pricey but worth it overall. Only gripe, please do espresso based coffees - after a rich filling meal, last thing we want is a filter coffee - you want something short and with a bang. Will be back again soon!

A wonderful second visit - after too long a break. My wife had Laksa and I had a rice plate with Beef rendang - it was so tasty and fatty (in a good way). Nice alcohol free beer from Hammerton. Service was really pleasant, engaging and just the right amount of contact.
