FKABAM is a place for fun. We take our food seriously, but not ourselves. Tables are close together, and the atmosphere is loud and vibrant. Reservations are available four weeks in advance for parties of 1 to 4 guests. For parties larger than this, please email info@blackaxemangal.comWe keep a few spaces free for walk-ins as first come first served.We serve an A La Carte menu which is published on our Instagram @fkablackaxemangal. Westerns Laundry is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant focusing on seafood & natural wines. The restaurant is located in the Islington/Highbury neighbourhood of North London. It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. It now boasts a beautiful 60 cover dining room, which opens onto an open 20 cover cobbled courtyard with olive trees as well as an intimate private dining room. Small and intimate in size but BIG in flavour and comes with great front of house service. Small plates to share are the way to go here. The chef is Turkish and therefore the dishes have an influence of Turkish cuisine about them. Each dish is freshly cooked to order and the flavours were fresh and delicious. We ordered all of the small plates which we shared between the four of us and found this worked well. We even had a small space for a naughty desert! The wine was expensive to us (non Londoners) but a good selection to choose from and we were delighted to see some Austrian wine on the list which is unusual in Devon. We had a great evening and would love to re visit again sometime in the future. Thank you!
