We were served by Andrew who did a phenomenal job, he provided recommendations as requested and really demonstrated knowledge of the menu. It was a great time! - NNandinivipWashington, D.C. Area •103 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAfter a superb Lincoln act at a packed Ford's Theater, we strolled to The Smith this beautiful early fall afternoon just in time for the Sunset menu. And it was a good choice too- we ordered the chicken sandwich with salad for one and fries for two for my husband and our two boys visiting from out of town respectively- all good. I had a delicious jalapeno lime dish- mouthwatering to say the least. The ambiance was lively- the staff caring and friendly on a very busy Sunday afternoon. Enjoyable all around -making for a very pleasant visit downtown.More infoThe Smith – Penn Quarter, Washington, D.CPrice: Expensive• American• Penn Quarter•4.5
- SSharonGreater Boston •14 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 30, 2024If you love tapas you can’t go wrong at Jaleo! There’s a huge range of hot, cold, meat, cheese, seafood, veggies, etc. The traditional shrimp & garlic is loaded with sweet (!) garlic slices, the octopus was grilled and tender, the gazpacho is silky (with crunchy “bread fingers”), the peas were delicious. We shared about 10 plates, and our waitress, Sylvia, was attentive but not hovering. It’s our 3rd visit and we’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had. Last year we had the chef’s tasting dinner and it’s a “must-do” - at least once!More infoJaleo - DCPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7
