Boston’s Best Brunch
Superior local and seasonal ingredients distinguish our Italian cuisine. Our menu is updated daily to reflect market changes. Our setting is historical and unique. Five elegant dining rooms ( most with views of the city) are tucked throughout an antique brick townhouse overlooking North Square in the heart of Boston's North End neighborhood.
While in town, my husband and I wanted to find a neighborhood pizza parlor where we could enjoy a light dinner near the event. We wandered through the North End & only found high end white table cloth restaurants when we found our first pizza option near the corner of Hanover/Commercial Sts, there was a 1 hr wait to sit. Thank goodness we walked a little further and went to Rocco's. What a great cozy neighborhood place. We were immediately made to feel welcome and were treated to an expertly prepared pizza, fresh bread with olives and olive oil and decent affordable Merlot. Wait staff was quick, attentive and pleasant. We would definitely return & will share this info with others going to events at the garden.
Nestled in the heart of Boston's historic North End, Euno is a hidden gem serving only the finest in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine and wines. From exquisite Seafood to Osso Bucco to tender Pollo Parmigian our culinary artists will create a delightful dish to satisfy each and every palate. And if it's a taste of Americana you desire, please enjoy our classic Filet Mignon or world famous Boston Lobster (served in-season only). Voted Most Romantic and highly recommended by celebrity chef Rachael Ray, we are open nightly for dinner at 5pm. Buon Appetito. Enjoy!
If you need to cancel any reservation, please make sure to call the restaurant in advance.
From the time I can remember, while I was growing up in this Italian neighborhood, the North End of Boston, my grandmother, Crocefissa Barbara Summa, was a great influence in my life.
It was at her dinner table that I learned of friendship and love, and by her side I discovered the art of Italian cooking. I learned it all begins with the best ingredients to bring out the simplicity of flavors of Sicilian cuisine as well as the many various regions throughout Italy. It pleases me that you selected to dine at La Summa. I know that your experience will be warm and pleasant, with culinary pleasures. - Barbara Summa Sullivan ( JULY 3, 1940 – SEPTEMBER 16, 2022)
Nino Trotta — who owns Forcella alongside his girlfriend, general manager and co-owner Shannon MacGowan, and his brother, wine director Christian Trotta — say that the cozy, candlelit vibe of the restaurant sets Forcella apart in a sea of massive North End restaurants.
“It’s tiny, 30 seats,” he said. “It’s perfect for a date.”
The kitchen team has designed a menu that includes dishes from all over Italy, with a slight lean toward Naples, where the Trotta family is from. Primi dishes include meatballs, crispy quail, while pastas range from linguine alle vongole and risotto to gnocchi with braised rabbit. Salmon, ribeye, round out the menu.

Boy, was this worth the drive and horrendous parking! I had the Frutti di Mare which was delicious! My husband had the veal parmigiana! I have never seen veal parmigiana like Umbria’s! Huge veal chop, butterflied on the bone breaded and prepared parmigiana style! Presentation was amazing as was the flavor! Could easily be shared by two people!More infoUmbriaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• North End•4.5

I got the gluten free pasta with truffle sauce and mushrooms - chef’s kiss amazing - and everyone else had their own lobster ravioli dishes - yes, that good!! We CRAVE this place. Make a res through Open Table to make seating easier, then head to Dolce at the corner for gelato and/or and affogato for dessert :) You won’t be disappointed.More infoTrattoria Il PaninoPrice: Moderate• Italian• North End•4.4
