Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes. Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades. The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines. Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

Primi dishes include meatballs, crispy quail, while pastas range from linguine alle vongole and risotto to gnocchi with braised rabbit. Salmon, ribeye, round out the menu.

Picked my friend up at Logan, went to an exhibit and had dinner at Bricco. Fabulous dinner, Shrimp appetizer with lemon butter and Burrata with tomatoes and Pesto. Dinner was the brick oven chicken and mushroom ravioli. Fabulous meal, excellent service and great ambiance. Lots of people watching! Headed back to the Cape and avoided a lot of traffic!

The food and service here was fantastic. The staff is very knowledgeable and the service is really quick with a fun energetic crowd. We went on a random Tuesday night and we thought it would be laid-back and relaxed but it was fun and very vibrant. I would say be prepared for loud noise But only because the food and service here are so awesome it deserves a crowd!
