- CClairevipGreater Boston •8 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoLovely meal, with the exception of the side of Brussel sprouts & pancetta, which were vinegary and just not good. Short ribs were well cooked, just not as flavorful as the ones I make at home! Desserts were exceptional as was the espresso martini. Given a window table which was fabulous, and less noisy than further inside the restaurant. Service was impeccable. In all, a very enjoyable evening.More infoBriccoPrice: Expensive• Italian• North End•4.6
- MMarkMontreal / Quebec •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe loved our hightop table and the ambience of the restaurant. Our waitress was spectacular, charming, and helpful. And the food was out of this world. Wine service was superb. We will be back! More infoTerra at Eataly BostonPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Back Bay•4.3
- CCraigvipGreater Boston •141 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoThe food (once it arrived) was exceptional. The service was terribly lacking - waitress seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there. The restaurant also seemed to have nothing non-alcoholic except for water which was services at room temperature with no ice and never refilled. We got there early hoping for a quick dinner. Despite many tables being available in the front by the windows we were seated in the back near the kitchen which was loud and very dark. Every single table including ours needed to use flashlights to see the menu. Despite getting there early and ordering right away, we watched as almost a dozen tables who arrived after us, were served before us. Incredibly frustrating. In fact, there were several tables who were seated after us who were served and finished their meals before we were even served. It was not until we told the waitress that we were prepared to leave and go elsewhere that our meals magically arrived. In sum, if you want a very good meal and you are will to accept eating in the dark and have no where to go after eating, then this restaurant is worth trying for the food. If not, lots of other options in the area.More infoTrattoria Il PaninoPrice: Moderate• Italian• North End•4.5

- RRonGreater Boston •20 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAn excellent meal. The food was exceptional. We tried about 6 dishes and every one was spectacular. Flavors were wonderful. Ambience is very nice and friendly. One of our party is gluten free and the waitress was wonderful in walking us through the menu with this in mind. All of the dishes we ordered were gluten free! We are now living in Cambridge and we will be regulars.More infoAlden and HarlowPrice: Moderate• American• West Cambridge•4.5

Discover Somerville
Somerville isn't just the forgotten sibling of Boston dining; it's now a hot spot for great food in its own right. From traditional diners to innovative Thai restaurants along Union Square, there's something for everyone. You'll find hearty, comforting clam chowder, meaty Boston baked beans, and succulent lobster rolls at diners and restaurants across the squares of the town. Best of all, it's just a Red Line trip away from the center of Boston. Once you're done eating authentic Somerville cuisine, why not top it all off with some Boston cream pie, which was invented in 1856 at what was then known as Boston's Parker House?
