Salt + Stone is kicking off the summer with a morning of movement, mindfulness, and mimosas. On Sunday, June 29, 2025, guests are invited to Assembly Row for “Fitness, Brunch + Chill”—a wellness experience featuring Boston-based fitness instructor and media personality Margaret Cresta-Griffin (@sovigor) and her high-energy full-body workout, SWEAT ENRGY. To celebrate Professional Wellness Month, this event encourages participants to prioritize self-care and work-life balance—starting with an invigorating group workout. Margaret will lead guests through a dynamic session combining strength training, bursts of cardio, and a grounding one-minute meditation to close it out. Then, it’s time to brunch. Guests will refuel with a spread of fresh fruit, bagels, yogurt parfaits, and more—all included in the ticket price. À la carte upgrades are available, including Salt + Stone’s signature brunch items like: Creme Brulee French Toast - Cinnamon bread, egg, cream, fresh fruit, Vermont maple syrup, whipped cream, powdered sugar. Huevos Rancheros - Sunny side eggs, refried black beans, sliced avocado, pico de gallo, ranchero sauce, guacamole, shredded mozzarella, and corn tortilla chips. Crab Cake Eggs Benedict – Farm-raised Poached eggs, toasted English muffin, house made crabcakes and hollandaise. And cocktails: Cherry Blossom – Roku Japanese Gin, Elderflower, Kalamansi, Cherry Purée, Lemon Teatime in Wonderland – Hanson Cucumber Vodka, Elderflower, Aquavit, Chamomile Dragon Fruit Syrup, Sparkling White Tea The Solstice – Tito’s Vodka, House-made Orange Vanilla Sage Syrup, Ginger Beer, Blood Orange Juice Non-alcoholic options like fresh juices, teas, spritzers, and the full brunch menu will also be available for purchase. Space is limited—early booking is strongly encouraged.

I had wanted to try Salt & Stone, having heard about it on television and in print. I was meeting a friend for dinner and she had not been there either, so we decided to give it a try. My overall reaction was, "Meh". Not bad, not good, just average. The service was lackadaisical; either the waitress was nowhere to be seen or offering us dessert while we were still eating. We both had salads, and they were good. The Hummus appetizer was decent, but ridiculously overpriced. The best part of the meal was the dessert; the brownie sundae was tasty. The beer selection is just average and the 18-ounce glasses are stupid - heavy and hard to hold. I'm not saying I wouldn't go back, but with all of the options at Assembly Row, I'd go somewhere else first.

We had a mixed experience, unfortunately. Our mocktails were delicious. One of our entrees was very tasty, but another was sloppy and underwhelming. We opted to skip dessert after one of us saw a mouse running across the dining room floor. A server noticed that we saw, but made no effort to address the incident. We will not be returning.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every course was timed perfectly. It was a relaxing, memorable evening, and we are already looking forward to going back.

The restaurant has an indoor section and a tent section. The indoor section was very loud, so my date asked to be seated in the tent. The tent reeked of wet dog and unwashed gym; I overheard multiple parties complain of the smell - it was bad. The host assigned tables as though it was going to be packed, but it was never above 50% capacity. The waiter was friendly, but the food was mediocre. My date’s drink, which the waiter recommended, was mediocre and was left barely touched - she refused to complain and he never seemed to notice the fail. The cost was too high for the ambience and food quality. Please remind me not to go back.

Good variety on the menu, just enough of a drink list, and server was attentive. Appetizers were good. Entrees fine, not great. I’d go back w the understanding to focus on apps and bar food.

Hostess was very kind. The outdoor seating was awesome. The food was good, but both our salmon’s were very salty. It became difficult to finish without more sauce. The drinks were great!

I want to highly recommend the Cast Iron Baked Brie and the Chef Alex Burger. Everything we had was great, but these two items were superb.

The patio allows dogs. We didn't bring a dog, but other diners did, and we enjoyed having them there.

Don’t sit in the outdoor heated tent unless you like dogs!
