- TTedPortland / Oregon •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI do love this restaurant. It was busy last night, but as usual the food and staff were outstanding. It reminds me in so many ways of a village restaurant in France. Extraordinary food served in an unpretentious atmosphere. That combination is hard to find.More infoCuvee OregonPrice: Very Expensive• French• Carlton•4.8

- JJanetNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe truly enjoyed dining in Hayward’s gorgeous new space in Carlton. Small plates featured lovely complex flavors - some were unexpected, like the chitarra pasta with clams, harissa, and lamb stock - delicious! Two other favorites were the seafood cake and the roasted mushrooms with ricotta and beets. Don’t overlook the focaccia and koji butter.More infoHaywardPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• McMinnville•4.8
- CCarolePortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoOne of the best dinners we have ever had. Everything was delicious and th service was great. I had the Halibut and it was nice and moist with a Loveage sauce. The Roasted Beet salad was perfect with toasted hazelnuts (we call them Filberts here in Oregon). The Charcueterie plate was full of flavorful items, especailly the apricot jam. Everything they serve is from their farm, so fresh and flavorful! Highly recommended.More infoGrounded TablePrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• McMinnville•4.8

Discover Carlton
The Willamette Valley is known by many as a lush treasure trove of wineries and orchards, and Carlton, a small town affectionately termed "Pinot Paradise," lives up to the region's hype. Boasting more the 20 wine tasting rooms in less than three city blocks, the town is a gastronomic paradise. Dining options are varied, and venues serving hearty American classics, delicate chocolates and bountiful baked goods are always open. Quirky, pun-based names are the norm for many coffee and espresso houses in the community that can be gathering places as much as spots to savor a coffee drink or pastry choice. Dining establishments such as a market and deli combo or farm-to-fork place doubling as a farmer's pantry provide a focus on locally raised meats, vegetables and other produce, highlighting the freshest ingredients.
