We are “regulars” and our first return after COVID-19 reminded us that we need Cuvee.

A wonderful way to return to dining out (phase I ) -

Cuvee always provides us with an amazing meal. Covid19 precautions aside, whether it's date night or dinner with friends, Cuvee is the best in the Carlton area.

This is one of our go-to restaurants in the Willamette Valley. The prix-fixe menu is affordable and Gilbert's cooking is wonderful. Always a good meal.

Our favorite French bistro. Gilbert is owner/chef and his dry wit is charming. The food and service are always perfect and the value for the quality is superb.

Our first dinner out since the pandemic hit. Cuvee was the perfect choice. Small groups, socially distant, proper PPE ~ all that on top of excellent food and service.

Cuvee is one of my favorite places to eat. Henry is the best host and the food and service are excellent. You can't beat the $35 3 course menu and he always has a couple of other specials. I highly recommend Cuvee, you will not be disappointed.

Cuvee is a wonderful restaurant both in terms of atmosphere and food. This is beyond any doubt our favorite "special occasion" restaurant in Oregon. It is affordable and the dishes are amazing. We drive almost 60 miles to eat there, and would visit Cuvee all the time if we lived closer!

This is always a real dining treat!!! The food is delicious and the preparation and presentation are done with perfection. The duck breast was a little overcooked to my standards, but the taste and the currant sauce was divine.
I love this little Carlton gem and will visit again soon!

Our first night out since the quarantine. Always outstanding and this evening was good as ever.

Carlton is really pleasant, the drive is fun, beautiful scenery, then Cuvee’ was the icing on the cake, a reminder of the best of French bistros.

This restaurant is well worth the trip if you do not live nearby. All of the locals eat here. The food is fantastic especially for the price. You can't get a three course meal anywhere for this price. Gilbert makes the best soups I have ever had. Every dish is delicious. The desserts are also fantastic and not loaded with sugar just awesome flavor. We have been dining here for over 14 years and is our go to restaurant.

Worth the drive from Portland..Exceptional food, service, and price.

Date night

If you are looking for great food, this is definitely a place you must visit. The town is small and cute to visit.

We were celebrating two birthdays. The food was excellent! The service was great. Wine recommended by the waiter was perfect. We had had a wonderful evening!

Wonderful experience

This restaurant is what a great meal is all about. It's simple, fresh, fantastic food prepared by an expert. The ambiance is just right - quiet and cozy, not over fluffy. It's all about the food here. If you love French food, GO.

We love Cuvee. We don’t get there often as we would like, and the menu doesn't change a great deal. But the food is always top notch French inspired comfort food, very accessible. The wine list is simple but varied to accommodate all tastes without being confusing, and reasonably priced. Nothing snooty about it, and you are getting a great food experience. The staff are charming, playful and welcoming.

Our food, our wine and our service was all excellent! Combine that with the fact that we were enjoying the company of family we love very much and it was a perfect night. My husband and I have dined at Cuvee before, alone and with friends. It has always been excellent! The escargot was delicious as were the other appetizers and it just kept getting better right thru the dessert and coffee! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.

Great food and service. We were seated immediately

Food was very disappointing. Clams had little flavor as the wine/garlic sauce was bland. My Boeuf Bourguignon was advertised as “Marinated beef stewed with onions mushrooms and bacon in a pinot noir sauce. Served with mashed potatoes.” Beef was tough and chewy...no flavor. Maybe re-heated in a microwave? The catch of the day was a slightly better choice.
Restaurant itself is nice....decor is fitting a French restaurant.

Enjoyed being able to take a table before our actual reservation. Loved our waiters sense of humor and accent. Serve’d in a timely manner. Don’t expect to find this kind of ambiance inside a small town like Carlton! Main Street has a good vibe to it! Would definitely have another Date Night here.

We had a wonderful meal. The Prix Fixe menu included choices for many different palates. There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. It was very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food. The wine list is also excellent and showcases many local oregon wines. The service was exceptional and friendly. I highly recommend Cuvee.

By far one of the most memorable culinary experiences. Everything that we ordered was fabulous.

Our dinner at Cuvee for our group of 6 was great. Henry met us - a quirky, funny guy, and everything was a delight from the ambiance, the menu selection and value, the service and the food. We loved all the entrees and the flourless chocolate cake with a hint of cayenne was amazing. They also serve Nespresso coffee, which is awesome !
