Took my boyfriend here for his birthday lunch. Compared a few menus in the area before hand and was drawn to this place. What a fantastic Italian restaurant! The decor was stylish and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a celebratory birthday lunch. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the friendly, welcoming staff made the whole experience even better. A great atmosphere and a place I’ll definitely be returning to!

We are not a ‘fancy pants’ establishment. Not in the least. We offer good quality, home-cooked, locally sourced (where possible) food. 90% of our menu is made on the premises. Certainly not ‘Pub Grub’ but not ‘Gastro Pub’ either. It’s good value for money. However, our standards are high, very high. Not only in the quality of the food that comes into and leaves the kitchen but also in the presentation, the delivery to the table and overall customer service. We’re definitely not ‘Silver Service’ either but all of our staff are attentive, smartly dressed and will always go that extra mile wherever they can. These are just some of the reasons we were awarded the Taste of the West GOLD award in 2019.
We are a dog friendly establishment, very dog friendly. However, please tell us at the time of booking so that we can place you in our Bar area , as opposed to our Restaurant.

We're practically regulars here, and every time everything is great. This time we came with our parents who were visiting us. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. My two daughters booked this for us all for Mother’s Day…..I had been before but they hadn’t. On arrival they both said what a great setting it was and how nice the staff were…..then the food came out! They were amazed at the content, presentation and the level of service we received. The food was awesome. The breakfast cocktail was also amazing! We were even able to sit outside for our coffee as the weather was very kind to us and we enjoyed the fabulous view. We will all definitely be back soon, thank you.

On arrival a lovely girl greeted us and took us to our table, she was very polite and professional. A guy brought us a cut of meats to look at and explained everything about he cuts, very professional, informative and polite, once we chose our dishes and new what steak we wanted the guy came back with a choice of steak knifes and explained the individual knives to us which was a lovely touch. The food was delicious, interior was beautiful, great atmosphere, beautiful table at the window which was great to look out onto Princess Street. Overall a great experience, highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Everything was fabulous, from the lovely, polite, well trained and attentive staff to the delicious food - my lamb special was so tasty I could have licked the plate! This was our fifth visit in a month - it's not a new obsession; we're doing a class nearby, on Mondays. The class isn't that good, but our meal afterwards is the treat of the week. We're working our way through the main menu, and so far it's the salmon rillette starter which has top marks. My favourite main = grilled chicken paillard, and the husband's = grilled sea bass fillet. Every flavour - and the balance between them - is superb. We have only two classes left - and therefore two early dinners here. We're aiming to get to the dessert menu on our last one. We often plan a dry day, but always order wine, as a mark of respect to the food, of course! Staff here are so good - hugely efficient without being stuffy. We'll have to find new reasons to be around Covent Garden, I think........

Our first dining experience here (normally eat at Harvey Nics or the Ivy). Our server was a delight and gave us a full account of the building's history when asked. Attentive and friendly service throughout. Our starters of wild mushrooms and tomato tartare were beautifully presented and lovely flavours. Husband very happy with his sea bass and I had a starter for a main of seafood tempura. Unfortunately, the chilli/pepper was scattered a little too liberally over the batter for me but the seafood itself was perfectly cooked and much enjoyed. Coffee very good. We will certainly return and look forward to working our way through a very tempting menu! Thank you to all staff and excellent kitchen team.
